Decisions of the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, the following decisions in respect of applications for licenses have been made.

Manufacture of Footwear.
A. Pitkethley and A. Henry, Auckland For the consent of the Bureau to the transfer to the applicants of the footwear manufacturers’ license held by W. H. G. Lathrope, Auckland, covering the manufacture of up to 300 pairs of men’s footwear per annum by the “machine-sewn” method, and to an extension of the scope of this license to cover the manufacture of men’s, women’s, children’s, boys’, maids’, and youths’ footwear, and sandals, and the use of the “fairstitch” and “machine-sewn” methods Declined 12 Aug., 1940.
Variations made to Previous Licensing Decisions.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirits.
Musgraves Services, Ltd., Gisborne Declined an application for permission to move one petrol pump to new premises in Peel Street, Gisborne, on the 12th August, 1940 Previous decision reversed and application now granted 2 Sept., 1940.
C. W. Parker, and Co., Ltd., Blenheim Declined an application for a license to resell motor-spirits from the depot of the Shell Co. of N.Z., Ltd., Blenheim, on the 22nd July, 1940 Previous decision reversed and application now granted 2 Sept., 1940.
Taking of Fish for Sale.
L. Williams, Christchurch Declined an application for a Fish Retailer’s License in respect of premises at 298 Colombo Street, Christchurch, on the 5th February, 1940 Previous decision reversed and application now granted 2 Sept., 1940.

Notice to Persons affected by an Application for a License under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Fish Retailing.

NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been received from M. Grbavac and M. Roglich for a license to commence to carry on the industry of fish retailing at premises in Queen Street, Masterton.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 19th September, 1940.

NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been received from Mrs. M. Marinovich for a license to commence to carry on the industry of the sale by retail of fish at premises at 270 Queen Street, Auckland.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 26th September, 1940.
