NOTICE is hereby given that dividends are now payable

accepted proved claims :—

dividend of 1d. in the pound (making a total of 4d. in
the pound).
Main, Alfred, late of Whangarei, Farmer, deceased—Second
dividend of 4d. in the pound (making a total of 6s. 2½d.
in the pound to date).
Yelavich, Ivan, of Ahipara, Gum-digger—First and final
dividend of 7¾d. in the pound.
Crawford, Ronald John, of Whangarei, Motor Mechanic—
Second dividend of 1s. 1d. in the pound (making a total
of 1s. 8d. in the pound to date).

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.
EVIDENCE of the loss of certificate of title, Vol. 522,
flio 236 (Auckland Registry), for that parcel of land
being Lot 1 of a subdivision of part Allotment 30, Section 10
of the Suburbs of Auckland, and being more particularly
shown on deposited Plan 22116, whereof ALEXANDER
DOUGLAS LEE, of Auckland, Sheet-metal Worker, is the
registered proprietor, having been lodged with me, together
with an application for the issue of a new certificate of title
in lieu thereof, notice is hereby given of my intention to issue
such new certificate of title accordingly upon the expiration of
fourteen days from the 22nd day of August, 1940.

RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
Rural Housing Act Loan, 1939.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the
Raglan County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
“That, for the purpose of providing the half-yearly
instalments of principal and interest and other loan
charges on a loan of £50,000, authorized to be raised by
the Raglan County Council under the above-mentioned
Act, for the purpose of making advances to farmers to
erect dwellings, or to add to or repair existing houses,
the said Raglan County Council hereby makes and levies
a special rate of 475d. in the pound upon the rateable
