Cancelling the Reservation over Part of a Reserve in Opawa
Survey District, Canterbury Land District.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of
August, 1940.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section
seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby cancel the reservation for gravel purposes
over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth
hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown,
is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
CANTEBURY LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 5 acres 1 rood,
more or less, being part Reserve 1693, situated in Block IV,
Opawa Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards
the east by the Timaru-Fairlie Railway, 601·2 links, and
towards the south, west, and north by Section 20, Rosewill
Settlement, 868·0 links, 601·2 links, and 880·0 links respectively. As the same is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked L. and S. 56953, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
bordered red.

District, Gisborne Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of
August, 1940.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section
seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby cancel the reservation for police purposes over
the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby
declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is
Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

10 acres, more or less.

Vesting a Reserve in the Wellsford Agricultural and Pastoral
Society (Incorporated).

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day
of August, 1940.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule
hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for an
Agricultural and Pastoral showground and public recreation-
ground: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-
General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the
Wellsford Agricultural and Pastoral Society (Incorporated):
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and
authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the
Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act,
1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the
date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall
become vested in the Wellsford Agricultural and Pastoral
Society (Incorporated), in trust, for an Agricultural and
Pastoral showground and public recreation-ground.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
LOT 1, D.P. 22800, being part of the western portion of
Section 31, Block XVI, Otamatea Survey District, and being
all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Vol. 694, folio
208, Auckland Registry: Area, 3 acres 0 roods 28·3 perches,
more or less.
Lot 2, D.P. 22800, being part Section 31, Block XVI,
Otamatea Survey District, and being all the land comprised
in Certificate of Title, Vol. 609, folio 189, Auckland Registry :
Area, 3 roods 6·9 perches, more or less.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
has been duly set apart as a reserve for county purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General,
it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman,
Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Clifton :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves,
Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare
that from and after the date hereof, the reserve described
in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman,
Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Clifton, in
trust, for county purposes.
SCHEDULE.
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 19·39 perches,
more or less, being parts of Section 78, Town of Urenui,
Block III, Waitara Survey District, bounded: Towards the
north by other part of Section 78, 200 links; towards the
east by Section 93, 60·6 links; towards the south by
Section 79, 200 links; and towards the west by Ngakoti
Street, 60·6 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or
less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and
S. 1913/121A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered
pink.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is a reserve duly set apart for a site for a ladies'
rest-room and dental clinic: And whereas it is expedient
that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be
changed to a reserve for county purposes:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
