Lieutenant J. C. Findlater, from the Reserve of Officers, to be Lieutenant, with seniority from 5th July, 1934, and is posted to the 2nd Cadet Battalion. Dated 23rd July, 1940.
Erick Charles Brenstrum to be 2nd Lieutenant (temp.), and is posted to the 1st Cadet Battalion. Dated 1st June, 1940.
Arthur Edward Davies to be 2nd Lieutenant (temp.), and is posted to the 2nd Cadet Battalion. Dated 18th July, 1940.
With reference to the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 74, dated 18th July, 1940, relative to the transfer of Lieutenant W. H. Ellingham for “with seniority from 24th February, 1940,” substitute “with seniority from 27th August, 1938.”

Lieutenant (temp. Captain) H. J. Barnicoat, M.B., Ch.B., is attached to the 10th Heavy Regiment, N.Z. Artillery. Dated 1st February, 1940.
Lieutenant A. B. Adams, M.B., Ch.B., is posted to the 2nd Field Ambulance. Dated 26th June, 1940.
Lieutenant I. A. Alexander, M.B., Ch.B., ceases to be attached to and is posted to the 2nd Field Ambulance. Dated 26th June, 1940.
The notices published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 75, dated 25th July, 1940, relative to Lieutenants C. R. Burns and R. A. Church are hereby cancelled and the following substituted :—
“Lieutenant C. R. Burns, M.D., Ch.B., M.R.C.P., Lond., is attached to the 2nd Composite Company, N.Z. Army Service Corps. Dated 26th June, 1940.
