CROWN LANDS NOTICES.

Education Reserves in North Auckland Land District for Lease by Public Auction.

North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, 31st July, 1940.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned education reserves will be offered for lease by public auction at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, at 2.30 o’clock p.m. on Tuesday, 10th September, 1940, under the provisions of the Education Reserves Act, 1928, and the Public Bodies' Leases Act, 1908.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—EDUCATION RESERVES.

Auckland City.—Whau Town South.

Section 105 : Area, 2 roods 38 perches. Upset annual rent, £2 5s.

Section 110 : Area, 2 roods 29 perches. Upset annual rent, £2 5s.

Section 119 : Area, 2 roods 34 perches. Upset annual rent, £2.

Section 110 is weighted with £1 10s. (payable in cash) for improvements, comprising fencing.

Section 105.—Situated at corner of Armagh Street and Endeavour Street, Blockhouse Bay, Avondale South, about a quarter of a mile from the bus route. Suitable for house-site.

Sections 110 and 119.—These sections front Kinross Street, Blockhouse Bay, about quarter of a mile from the bus route. Suitable for house-sites.

Town Lands in Auckland Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease.

Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, 31st July, 1940.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections are open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 11 o'clock a.m. on Monday, 26th August, 1940.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Wednesday, 28th August, 1940, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicants are required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year’s rent, broken-period rent, and lease fee.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LANDS.

Taumarunui Borough.—Taumarunui Native Township.

Section 11, Block XXVI : Area, 1 acre 0 roods 3 perches. Capital value, £75 ; half-yearly rent, £1 17s. 6d.

A corner section situated at the corner of Para and Ngatai Streets. Suitable for residential-site.

Section 11, Block IX : Area, 33 perches. Capital value, £700 ; half-yearly rent, £17 10s.

A level section situated in Hakiaha Street, 10 chains from post-office. Suitable for business-site.

Lots 2 and 3 of Section 5, Block IX : Area, 26.97 perches. Capital value, £650 ; half-yearly rent, £16 5s.

These two level sections are situated in Hakiaha Street, 150 yards from the post-office. Suitable for business-sites.

Section 14, Block XXI : Area, 1 acre. Capital value, £150 ; half-yearly rent, £3 15s.

A corner section, situated at the corner of Taupo Road and Reu Street, one mile from railway-station. Suitable for building-sites.

Section 7, Block XXXI : Area, 1 acre. Capital value, £100 ; half-yearly rent, £2 10s.

A residential-site situated in Taupo Road, two miles from post-office.
