Council of the Royal Society of New Zealand held on
the 22nd May, 1940-

Arthur William Baden Powell
were duly elected Fellows of the Royal Society of New
Zealand.

NOTICE is hereby given that applications have been
received as follows:-
(a) From the Zenith Gut Co., Ltd., Christchurch, for a
license to continue carrying on the above industry.
(b) From the following for licenses to commence to carry
on the above industry :-
(i) Ficken, Halliday, and McClelland, Ltd., Melbourne.
(ii) Slazengers (Australia) Pty., Ltd., Wellington.
(iii) Sports Supplies (N.Z.) Ltd., Auckland.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected
by the decision of the Bureau of Industry in respect of this
application, and who wishes to make representations accord-
ingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to
reach the undersigned not later than the 15th August, 1940.
