THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Pohaturoa Survey District, and proceeding in a south-easterly direction along the left bank of Alexander River to the northern bush edge of Conical Hill; thence westerly, southerly, and easterly by the bush edge of the said Conical Hill to a point due north of a saddle between an unnamed creek and May Creek; thence due south through the said saddle to the northern bush edge of the slopes and tops between May Creek and the Grey River; thence southerly and northerly by the bush edge of the said slopes to a point bearing 229° from the north-eastern corner of Block XII, Pohaturoa Survey District; thence along a right line to the said corner of Block XII; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of the said Block XII to a point distant 2000 links from the right bank of the Upper Grey River; thence along a line 2000 links from and parallel to the right bank of the said Upper Grey River to a point on the said river bank 2800 links in a north-westerly direction from the south-eastern corner of Section 2827; thence along the said river bank to the eastern boundary of Pastoral License 1033 and along the said eastern and northern boundaries of the said Pastoral License 1033 to a point on the right bank of the Grey River, 3600 links south-east from Trig. A; thence along the said river bank to the southern boundary of Pastoral License 1023 (Gazette 1931, page 1344); thence along the southern and eastern boundaries of the said pastoral license and the right bank of the Grey River to the northern boundary of the Westland Land District; thence along the said boundary of the Westland Land District to the point of commencement.

As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 120/25, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Also those areas containing 1,196 acres, more or less, and described as follows:—

All that area containing 498 acres, more or less, being part of Provisional State Forest No. 1608 (Gazette 1920, page 2838), situated in Block XVI, Pohaturoa Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north by Block XII, Pohaturoa Survey District; towards the north-east by the Robinson River to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Reserve 1241; towards the north-west by a line across the Robinson River and along a road reserve to the southern corner of Reserve 1241; towards the south-east by a line approximately 5200 links to a point 4000 links west of the Robinson River and 7000 links south of Block XII aforesaid; towards the south by a line running due west for a distance of approximately 5500 links and towards the south-west by a line running in a north-westerly direction for a distance of 7800 links.

Also all that area containing 698 acres, more or less, being part of Provisional State Forest No. 1608 (Gazette 1920, page 2838—national-endowment provisional State forest, 486 acres), part of Provisional State Forest No. 1607 (Gazette 1920, page 2838—national-endowment provisional State forest, 78 acres), and Crown land (134 acres), situated in Blocks XII and XVI, Pohaturoa Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the east by Blocks IX and XIII, Lewis Survey District, to a point 7000 links south of Block XII aforesaid; towards the south by a line running due west a distance of approximately 8500 links to the Robinson River; towards the north-west by a right line to the southernmost corner of Section 2823, by Section 2823, and by a line parallel to and 2000 links distant from the left bank of the Upper Grey River.

As the same are more particularly delineated on plan No. 120/25, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Also all that area containing approximately 14,750 acres, being part of Provisional State Forest No. 1704 (Gazette 1920, page 3138—national-endowment provisional State forest, 1,710 acres), part of Provisional State Forest 1601 (Gazette 1920, page 2838—national-endowment provisional State forest, 950 acres), Provisional State Forest 1602 (Gazette 1920, page 2838—national-endowment provisional State forest, 370 acres), and part of Provisional State Forest 1664 (Gazette 1919, page 1288—ordinary provisional State forest, 11,720 acres), situated in Blocks X, XIII, XIV, and XV, Hohonu Survey District, and Blocks II, III, VI, and VII, Turiwhate Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Commencing at the south-eastern corner of Section 2485, Block X, Hohonu Survey District, and proceeding due south to the top of the Hohonu Range; thence easterly, southerly, south-easterly and north-easterly along the summit of the said range to a point 6800 links from the eastern boundary of Block XV, Hohonu Survey District; thence due south to the southern boundary of the said Block XV; thence along a right line south-westerly to the most western corner of Scenic Reserve No. 919; thence along the south-western boundary of the said reserve and its production to the right bank of the Taramakau River; thence towards the south-west by the said river bank to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 2205; thence to and along the said eastern boundary and the northern and western boundaries of Section 2205 aforesaid, and the latter produced to the right bank of the Taramakau River; thence north-westerly along the said river bank to its intersection with a line bearing 164° from the most eastern corner of Section 3174; thence along the said line and the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 3174, 2381, 2380, 2354, and 2320, a road reserve, Sections 2227 and 2353, a road reserve, and Sections 2228, 2319, 2306, and 2315, and the south-eastern boundary of Section 2352 to its most eastern corner; thence north-easterly along a line bearing 256° to the right bank of the Big Hohonu River; thence generally north-easterly along the right bank of the said river to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 2485; thence in an easterly direction to and along that boundary to the point of commencement.

As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 126/68, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Also all that area containing approximately 11,100 acres, being part of Provisional State Forest No. 1605 (Gazette 1920, page 2838—national-endowment provisional State forest, 5,740 acres), and part of Provisional State Forest No. 1661 (Gazette 1919, page 1289, ordinary provisional State forest, 5,360 acres), situated in Blocks I, II, V, VI, and IX, Hohonu Survey District, and Blocks VIII and XII, Waimea Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Commencing at a point 1700 links due south of Trig. F.K., Block II, Hohonu Survey District, and proceeding due east for 2100 links; thence due south along a line for 18100 links; thence along a right line south-westerly to the north-eastern corner of Section 1874, Block IX, Hohonu Survey District; thence along the north-western boundary of that section to its western corner; thence by a right line south-westerly to the north-eastern corner of Section 998; thence along the north-ern and western boundaries of Section 998, the latter produced to the right bank of the Big Hohonu River; thence westerly along the said bank to a point due south of the most southern corner of Section 3595, Block VIII, Waimea Survey District; thence along a line due north to the said corner of Section 3595, and north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of that section to its eastern corner; thence along a right line to the intersection of the right bank of Cockeye Creek with a line bearing 52° 30′ to Trig. B.M. (Gazette 1929, page 421); thence along the said line bearing 52° 30′, and that line produced to the left bank of Cocabulla Creek; thence easterly along the said bank of Cocabulla Creek and the left branch of Cocabulla Creek to a point due west of the point of commencement; and thence due east to the point of commencement; excluding therefrom Marsden Road and Sections 1477 and 1464.

As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 126/68, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Also all that area containing approximately 3,590 acres, being part of Provisional State Forest No. 1659 (Gazette 1919, page 1289, ordinary provisional State forest), situated in Blocks XIII and XIV, Arnold Survey District, Block XVI, Greymouth Survey District, and Block I, Hohonu Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Commencing at the south-eastern corner of Section 1864, Block XIII, Arnold Survey District; thence westerly along the southern boundary of that section and a road; thence along the western side of the said road to the south-eastern corner of Section 1618; thence along the southern and western boundaries of that section and the western and northern boundaries of Section 1617, and the western boundary of Section 1598, and a road to the south-eastern corner of Scenic Reserve 992; thence along the southern boundary of that reserve to the south-eastern corner of Section 1466 and southwards along a right line to the north-eastern corner of Section 1512, Block XVI, Greymouth Survey District; thence along the eastern boundary of said Section 1512 to its south-eastern corner, and along a right line to the north-eastern corner of Section 3378, Block IV, Waimea Survey District; thence along the eastern boundary of Section 3378; thence along the eastern boundary of Section 3379 for a distance of 2250 links to the southern boundary of Provisional State Forest 1659; thence due east along a line for 15500 links; thence in a north-easterly direction along a right line to Rata Tree Peak Road and across that road to a point on the western boundary of Reserve 130, 4500 links north of the south-western corner of the said reserve; thence along a right line to the point of commencement; excluding therefrom all roads.

Also all that area containing approximately 4,380 acres, being part of Provisional State Forest No. 1707 (Gazette 1921, page 2320, national-endowment provisional State forest, 870 acres), part of Provisional State Forest No. 1701 (Gazette 1920, page 2367, national-endowment provisional State forest,
