Notice to Persons affected by an Application for a License
under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Manufacture of Soap and Soap-powder.

NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been
received from Foley Bros. (N.Z.), Limited, Wellington,
for a license to engage in the industry of “the manufacture
for sale of soap and soap-powder” to the extent of manu-
facturing a pumice cleanser.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected
by the decision of the Bureau of Industry in respect of this
application, and who wishes to make representations
accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing
so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 8th August,
1940.

received from the Techni-Chemical Products Company,
Wellington, for a license to carry on the industry of “the
manufacture for sale of soap and soap-powder” to the
extent of manufacturing a hand emolient paste.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected
by the decision of the Bureau of Industry and who wishes to
make representations accordingly, must furnish such repre-
sentations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later
than the 1st August, 1940.

Taking of Fish for Sale.
P. McCloskey, Blenheim.. For an extension of his industrial fishing license so as to permit of the use of trawl-nets in Cloudy Bay Declined.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirits.

D. C. Cameron, Ruatahuna To install one petrol pump at premises at Ruatahuna, to be transferred from store of Mr. A. A. Nattrass Granted.
N.Z. Fruitgrowers’ Federation, Ltd., Hastings To resell motor-spirits from one petrol pump at Hastings and to resell in drum lots from the depot of the Vacuum Oil Co., Pty., Limited, Hastings Granted. Sales to be confined to members of the federation.
