direction along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 31
and 32, Block XV aforesaid, and Sections 1, 3, 4, 5, and 7,
Block XII, Ngaire Survey District; thence along the eastern
boundaries of Sections 8 and 9, Block XII aforesaid, in a
northerly direction to the boundary-line of the Mangamingi
Village; thence along the eastern boundaries of the said
village in a north-easterly and thence in a north-westerly
direction to the south-eastern corner of Section 24, Block XII,
Ngaire Survey District; thence along the eastern boundaries
of Section 24, Block XII aforesaid, and Section 12, Block VIII,
Ngaire Survey District, in a generally northerly direction to
the northern boundary of Section 11, Block VIII, Ngaire
Survey District; thence along the northern boundary of
the said Section II to the eastern boundary of Section 5,
Block VIII aforesaid, where it meets the boundary-line
of the Central Taranaki Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area;
thence from this point continuing along and coinciding with
the boundary of the Central Taranaki Bobby Calf Marketing
Pool Area in a southerly and then generally westerly direction
to the point where the Waingongoro Stream crosses the Egmont
Forest Reserve boundary in the eastern portion of Block III,
Kaupokonui Survey District, being the original point of
commencement.

Declaring a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.
PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations
1939, I, Walter Nash, Minister of Marketing, being
satisfied that a sufficient majority of the producers in the
area of land defined in the Schedule hereto are desirous that
such area should be declared to be a pool area for the
marketing of bobby calves, do hereby declare such area of
land, defined as aforesaid, to be a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool
Area for the purposes of the said regulations under the name
set out in the said Schedule, and I do hereby declare that
this notice shall take effect on the 25th day of July, 1940.
SCHEDULE.
EKETAHUNA BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA.
ALL that area of land situated within the Eketahuna,
Pahiatua, and Mauriceville Counties and bounded by a line
commencing at the point where the Makakahi River crosses
the Eketahuna County boundary in the south-eastern corner
of Block XIV, Mangahao Survey District, thence proceeding
in a northerly direction along the said river to the north-
eastern corner of Section 91, Block XIV, Mangahao Survey
District; thence along the northern boundary of the said
section to the Main Eketahuna-Pahiatua Road; thence down
the Main Road in a southerly direction to the Eketahuna
County boundary again, thus enclosing the sections on the
eastern side of the Main Road from that occupied by Mr. A.
E. Brown to the county boundary; thence from this point
continuing in a westerly direction along the county boundary
to the point where the said boundary is intersected by the
Mangahao River in Block XIII, Mangahao Survey District;
thence continuing in a generally south-westerly direction
along the Mangahao River to its source and from this point
taking a straight line in a westerly direction to the Eketahuna
County boundary; thence continuing along the said boundary
in a generally south-easterly direction and also continuing
along the Mauriceville County boundary in the same direction;
thence along the Mauriceville County boundary in a generally
easterly direction to the southern corner of Section 7, Block
IV, Mikimiki Survey District; thence in a generally north-
easterly direction along the eastern boundary of the said
Section 7 ; thence along the southern boundaries of Section 5
and Section 6, Block IV aforesaid, in a south-easterly direction
to the western corner of Section 17, Block I, Kopuaranga
Survey District; thence along the southern, south-eastern,
and eastern boundaries of Sections 17, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, and
10, Block I aforesaid; thence along the eastern boundaries
of Sections 176, 173, 5, and 4 on the eastern side of Mount
Munro Road in Block XIII, Mangaone Survey District, to
the road forming the northern boundary of Section 4 afore-
said; thence along the road forming the northern boundary
of Section 4 aforesaid, in a westerly direction to the south-
eastern corner of Section 127, Block XIII aforesaid, which
lies to the west of Hastwell Village Settlement; thence along
the eastern boundary of Section 127 in a northerly direction
to the southern boundary of Section 128, Block XIII afore-
said; thence along the southern boundary of Section 128 in
an easterly direction; thence along the eastern boundaries
of Sections 128 and 129 to the southern boundary of Section
132, Block XIII aforesaid; thence along the southern
boundary of Section 132 in a westerly direction to the western
boundary of Parts 2 and 3 of the said Section; thence along
the western boundary of the said Parts 2 and 3 of Section 132,
Block XIII aforesaid, in a northerly direction to meet the
Eketahuna County boundary; thence continuing along the
Eketahuna County boundary in an easterly direction to the
point where the said county boundary crosses the Bowen
Road; thence from this point taking a straight line across
country in a northerly direction to the Mount Bowen Trig.
Station in Block X, Mangaone Survey District; thence from
this point taking a straight line across country again in a
south-easterly direction to the Ash Hill Trig. Station in Block
XI, Mangaone Survey District; thence from this point
taking a straight line across country in a north-easterly
direction to the junction of the Tawataia and the Tenui
Roads; thence continuing along the Tawataia Road in a
northerly direction to the junction of the said road with the
road forming the southern boundaries of Sections 28, 28A,
and 28B, Block VII, Mangaone Survey District; thence from
this point taking a straight line across country in a north-
easterly direction to the Mount Clive Trig. Station; thence
continuing in a straight line across country again in a north-
easterly direction to the point where the south-eastern
boundary of Section 15, Block IV, Mangaone Survey District,
meets the Eketahuna County boundary; thence continuing
in a generally north-westerly direction along the said county
boundary to the point where it is crossed by the Makakahi
River, in the south-eastern corner of Block XIV, Mangahao
Survey District, being the original point of commencement.

District; thence taking a straight line across country in a
generally easterly direction to the Parakino Trig. Station in
Block XI, Waipakura Survey District; thence from this
point taking a straight line across country again in an easterly
direction to the Stony Point Trig. Station in Block X, Manga-
whero Survey District; thence from this point taking a
straight line across country again in a south-easterly direction
to the point where the Turakina River is intersected by the
southern boundary of Block XV, Mangawhero Survey
District; thence continuing in a generally south-westerly
direction along the Turakina River to the northern corner of
Section 38, Block XV, Ikitara Survey District; thence from
this point continuing in a generally south-easterly direction
along the boundary of the Rata-Taihape Pool to the junction
of the boundary of the said pool with the boundary of the
Rongotea and District Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area;
thence continuing in a generally south-westerly direction
along the boundary of the Rongotea and District Bobby Calf
Marketing Pool Area to the sea-coast; thence continuing
along the sea-coast in a generally north-westerly direction to
the mouth of the Wanganui River; thence continuing up-
stream along the Wanganui River in a generally northerly
direction to the Kaiwhaiki Pa on the eastern bank of the said
River in Block X, Waipakura Survey District, being the
original point of commencement.
