Declaring a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.
Pursuant to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1939, I, Walter Nash, Minister of Marketing, being satisfied that a sufficient majority of the producers in the area of land defined in the Schedule hereto are desirious that such area should be declared to be a pool area for the marketing of bobby calves, do hereby declare such area of land, defined as aforesaid, to be a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area for the purposes of the said regulations under the name set out in the said Schedule, and I do hereby declare that this notice shall take effect on the 25th day of July, 1940.
SCHEDULE.
OTAKEHO-WAIAUA BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA.
All that area of land situated within the Egmont, Eltham, and Waimate West Counties and bounded by a line commencing at the point where the Otakeho River crosses the Egmont Forest Reserve boundary in the western portion of Block VI, Kaupokonui Survey District; thence continuing down-stream along the Otakeho River to the sea-coast; thence continuing along the sea-coast in a generally north-westerly direction to the mouth of the Waiaua River in Block XII, Opunake Survey District; thence continuing up-stream along the Waiaua River to the point where the said river is intersected by the Egmont Forest Reserve boundary in Block IV, Opunake Survey District; thence continuing generally in a south-easterly direction along the Egmont Forest Reserve boundary to the point where the said boundary is intersected by the Otakeho River in Block VI, Kaupokonui Survey District, being the original point of commencement.

SCHEDULE.
NORTH TARANAKI BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA.
All that area of land situated within the Clifton and the Taranaki Counties and bounded by a line commencing at the point where the Gilbert Road meets the sea-coast in the south-western portion of Block VII, Mimi Survey District; thence continuing along the sea-coast in a southerly and then south-westerly direction to the mouth of the Waitara River; thence up-stream along the said river to the junction of the said river with the Clifton County boundary to the south-east of the Borough of Waitara, thus enclosing all of the Borough of Waitara to the north of the said river; thence continuing along the Clifton County boundary in a generally easterly direction to the Trig. Station, Pouiatoa, in the south-east corner of Block X, Upper Waitara Survey District; thence continuing in a generally northerly direction along the eastern boundaries of Sections 6, 2, and 4, Block IX, Upper Waitara Survey District; thence in a generally north-westerly direction along the northern boundaries of Section 2, Block II, Upper Waitara Survey District, and Sections 28, 27, 26, and 17, Block I, Upper Waitara Survey District; thence in a generally northerly direction along the eastern boundaries of Sections 9 and 7, Block I, Upper Waitara Survey District, to the Mokau Road; thence from the point where the eastern boundary of Section 7 aforesaid, meets Mokau Road, taking a straight line across country in a north-easterly direction to the point where the western boundary of Section 63, Block X, Mimi Survey District, meets the northern boundary of the said Block X; thence in a generally easterly direction along the northern boundary of the said Block X to the Trig. Station C. Rock 882 ft.; thence in a northerly direction along the eastern boundary of Section 4, Block VI, Mimi Survey District; thence along the eastern boundary of Section 1, Block VII, Mimi Survey District, in a generally north-easterly direction to the Gilbert Road; thence along the Gilbert Road in a generally westerly direction to the sea-coast, being the original point of commencement.

All that area of land situated within the Hawera and the Eltham Counties and bounded by a line commencing at the point where the Eltham Pool boundary crosses the Wai-ngongoro Stream in the south-east corner of Section 61, Block XIII, Ngaire Survey District; thence continuing generally in an easterly direction along the Eltham Pool boundary to the junction of the Makino and the Whareroa Roads in Block XV, Ngaire Survey District; thence continuing in a generally southerly direction along the Whareroa Road to the intersection of the said road with the Morea Road; thence continuing in a generally westerly direction along the Morea Road to the junction of the said road with the Mataimaroke Road; thence from this point taking a straight line across country in a southerly direction to the southern corner of Section 13, Block III, Hawera Survey District, at the Tangahoe River; thence continuing along the Tangahoe River down-stream in a generally southerly direction to the sea-coast; thence continuing along the sea-coast in a generally north-westerly direction to the mouth of the Waingongoro Stream to the west of Ohawe; thence continuing generally in a northerly direction up-stream along the Waingongoro River to the point where the said river is intersected by the boundary of the Eltham Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area in the south-east corner of Section 61, Block XIII, Ngaire Survey District, being the original point of commencement.

All that area of land situated within the Rotorua County and bounded by a line commencing at the point where the Rotorua Township boundary is crossed by the Taupo-Atiamuri Road at the Hemo Gorge in the north-western corner of Block V, Tarawera Survey District; thence continuing across country in a straight line in a generally westerly direction to the point where the Auckland-Rotorua Railway crosses the Rotorua County boundary in the southern portion of Block XIII, Rotorua Survey District; thence continuing in a generally northerly direction along the Rotorua County boundary to the point where the said boundary is crossed by the Ohaupara Stream in the eastern portion of Block II, Rotorua Survey District; thence continuing along the Ohaupara Stream in a generally easterly direction to the junction of the said stream with the Mangorewa River in the western portion of Block III, Rotorua Survey District; thence continuing along the Mangorewa River in a generally easterly and north-easterly direction to the point where the said river crosses the Rotorua County boundary in the north-east corner of Block XIV, Maketu Survey District; thence from this point taking a straight line across country in a south-easterly direction to the western end of Lake Roto Ehu at Pohui; thence from this point taking a straight line across country again in a south-westerly direction to the point where the Rotorua Township boundary is crossed by the Taupo-Atiamuri Road at the Hemo Gorge, being the original point of commencement.
