Declaring a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.
PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1939, I, Walter Nash, Minister of Marketing, being satisfied that a sufficient majority of the producers in the area of land defined in the Schedule hereto are desirous that such area should be declared to be a pool area for the marketing of bobby calves, do hereby declare such area of land, defined as aforesaid, to be a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area for the purposes of the said regulations under the name set out in the said Schedule, and I do hereby declare that this notice shall take effect on the 25th day of July, 1940.
SCHEDULE.
NORTHERN WANGANUI DISTRICTS BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA.
ALL that area of land situated within the Waitotara County and bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the Manganuipao Stream with the Waitotara River in Block V, Nukumaru Survey District; thence continuing in a straight line across country in a generally easterly direction to the Corry Trig. Station 796 ft. in Block XII, Nukumaru Survey District; thence taking a straight line across country in a generally south-easterly direction to a point on the western bank of the Wanganui River opposite the Kaiwhaiki Pa in Block X, Waipakura Survey District; thence continuing down-stream along the Wanganui River to the sea-coast and thence along the sea-coast in a generally north-westerly direction to the mouth of the Waitotara River; thence up-stream along the Waitotara River in a generally north-easterly direction to the junction of the said river with the Manganuipao Stream in Block V, Nukumaru Survey District, being the original point of commencement.
