HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Takaka County Council on the fourteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty, viz.:—
“That the Takaka County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads in the County of Takaka, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the portion of the south-eastern side of the road, known as East Road, fronting Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 126, part Section 27, District of Motupipi, and part Section 28, District of Takaka, Waitapu Survey District, shown coloured red on plan P.W.D. 106926”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-eastern side of the portion of East Road (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-five feet from the centre-line of the said portion of road.

“That the Waimea County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads within the Waimea County, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the east and north side of the roads fronting the west and south boundary of part Section 4, Moutere, Block VII, Motueka Survey District (Annie Inwood)”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the eastern side of the portion of Central Road and the northern side of the portion of Ching’s Road (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-five feet from the centre-lines of the said portions of roads.

THE eastern side of all that portion of road, situated in the Nelson Land District, County of Waimea, known as Central Road, fronting part Section 4, District of Moutere.
Also the northern side of all that portion of road, situated in the said land district and county, known as Ching’s Road, fronting part Section 4, District of Moutere.
