DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between ARTHUR HODGSON and WILLIAM HENRY SMITH, carrying on business in the City of Wellington as Plastering Contractors under the style or firm of Hodgson and Smith, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 24th day of January, 1940.

All debts due to the partnership must be paid to Arthur Hodgson at 159 Daniell Street, Wellington South, and all claims against the partnership must likewise be rendered to the said Arthur Hodgson at the same address.

The business of plastering contractor will henceforth be carried on by William Henry Smith as sole proprietor from his address 17 Sugarloaf Road, Brooklyn, Wellington.

WAİKATO COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waikato County Council proposes to execute a certain public work—to wit, the formation of a road—for which purposes the lands described in the Schedule hereto require to be taken by the Waikato County Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, sections 22 and 23.

A plan of the lands required to be taken as aforesaid is open for inspection at the office of the Waikato County Council, Grey Street, Hamilton East.

All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-founded objections to the taking of such lands and to send such writing to the Waikato County Council within forty days from the date of the first publication of this notice.

HAWKE’S BAY RIVERS BOARD.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS.

PURSUANT to section 22 of the Public Works Act, 1928, notice is hereby given that the Hawke’s Bay Rivers Board proposes under the powers conferred by the River Boards Act, 1908, and the Hawke’s Bay Rivers Act, 1919, and their respective amendments, to execute certain public works—namely, the straightening, widening, clearing, and controlling of the course of the Ngaruroro River and the prevention of floods from the waters of the said river—and that accordingly the lands described in the First and Second Schedules hereto are required to be taken for the purpose of river works.

Notice is further given that plans of the lands required to be taken for the purpose aforesaid are deposited in the offices of the Hawke’s Bay Rivers Board, Browning Street, Napier, and are open for inspection by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said works or the taking of the said lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said works or to the taking of the said lands must set forth their objections in writing and send the same to the Clerk of the Hawke’s Bay Rivers Board, Browning Street, Napier, on or before the 15th day of March, 1940, being a date not less than forty days from the first publication of this notice.
