Redefining a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.
PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1939, I, Walter Nash, Minister of Marketing, being satisfied that a sufficient majority of the producers in the area of land defined in the Schedule hereto are desirous that such area should be declared to be a pool area for the marketing of bobby calves, do hereby declare such area of land defined as aforesaid to be a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area for the purposes of the said regulations under the name set out in the said Schedule, and I do hereby further declare that this notice shall take effect on the 2nd day of May, 1940.
SCHEDULE.
LEVIN BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA.
That area of land lying entirely within the Horowhenua County and starting in the south at Mr. G. Phillip’s property, and described as part Lot 1, D.P. 1483, Block X, Waitohu Survey District, on the South Manakau Road, and continuing on both sides of this road to the Main Wellington Highway; thence in a southerly direction to the point where the Main Highway crosses the railway-line by overhead bridge; thence in a north-westerly direction to S. C. Corlett’s property, and described as Section 3, Waitawa Settlement, Block VI, Waitohu Survey District; thence in a westerly direction to the sea-coast, and following the sea-coast in a northerly direction to the Manawatu River, and then taking the southern bank of the Manawatu River until a point is reached where the Paiaka Road joins the river between Sections 2 and 3, D.P. 3848; thence following this road, including properties on both sides of this road, until the Paiaka Road joins the Koputaroa–Foxton Highway; thence along this highway to the Koputaroa Railway-station; thence taking a straight line across country to the Main Highway to Law’s Hill, and continuing in a southerly direction along the foot of the Tararua Ranges until the point of commencement is reached on G. Phillip’s property, and described as part Lot 1, D.P. 1483, Block X, Waitohu Survey District.
