  1. SYSTEM OF SUPPLY.

The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (d) of clause 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations, 1935, The generating voltage and the transmission voltage shall be approximately 32 volts direct current.

  1. DURATION OF LICENSE.

Unless sooner determined, this license shall continue in force until the 31st day of March, 1961, or until electrical energy is available from an Electric-power Board, or other general public source, whichever is the earlier.

  1. RENTAL.

For the purpose of assessing the annual rental payable in respect of this license, the licensees may install a suitable maximum-demand indicator to the satisfaction of the Inspecting Engineer of the Public Works Department, and failing such installation, the rental shall be assessed on the maximum generating capacity of the plant installed. The present plant is rated at 0Β·75 kilowatts.

Cancelling the Reservation over a Reserve in Maramarua Survey District, North Auckland Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 23rd day of April, 1940.

Present:

THE HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation for sites for public buildings or other purposes of the General Government over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

ALL those areas in the Franklin County, situated in Block I, Maramarua Survey District, containing a total of 10 acres 3 roods 7 perches, more or less, being Allotments 2 and 5 Section 2, Allotments 2 and 3 Section 3, Allotments 2, 3, 11, 13, and 14 Section 4, Allotments 5 and 6 Section 6, Allotment 4 Section 9, and Allotments 5 and 6 Section 10, Town of Havelock. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 20/1050B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Huntsbury Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-eight of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

The Heathcote County Council

to be the Huntsbury Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the twenty-fourth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty, at seven-thirty o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the office of the Heathcote County Council, 178 Manchester Street, Christchurch, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Fredrick Ferdinand Trapski,

Robert John Potter,

George Gordon,

George Smith Valentine, and

George Robert Styles

to be the Pukerau Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-ninth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Pukerau Hall, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Recreation Reserve in Gisborne Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of May, 1940.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Gisborne Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Te Puia Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Te Puia Domain Board.

SCHEDULE.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 29, Suburbs of Te Puia: Area, 3 acres 2 roods 17 perches, more or less.
