PURSUANT to section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, notice is hereby given that a general meeting of the shareholders of the company will be held at the liquidator’s office, 229 Stafford Street, Timaru, on Thursday, 11th April, 1940, at 11 a.m.

FOSTER’S HOTEL, LIMITED.
IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND, WANGANUI DISTRICT.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of Foster’s Hotel, Limited.
NOTICE is hereby given that an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand (Wanganui District) dated the 6th day of March, 1940, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £50,000 to £28,673 15s., and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above Act, were registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 20th day of March, 1940. And further take notice that the said minute is in the words and figures following:—
“The capital of Foster’s Hotel, Limited, henceforth is £28,673 15s., divided into 14,695 non-cumulative preference shares of 15s. each and 35,305 ordinary shares of 10s. each, instead of the former capital of £50,000 divided into 14,695 non-cumulative preference shares of £1 each and 35,305 ordinary shares of £1 each. At the time of the registration of this minute 14,549 of the said non-cumulative preference shares have been issued and the sum of 15s. has been and is to be deemed paid up on each of the said shares and the sum of 10s. has been and is to be deemed paid up on each of the ordinary shares numbering 35,305, except that upon the shares numbered 4401 to 4500 inclusive, 27376 to 27475 inclusive, and 34906 to 34955 inclusive, there are the following arrears of calls:—
