Additional Land taken for a Secondary School in the Borough of Dannevirke.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a secondary school; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-sixth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 1 rood 23·7 perches.
Being part Suburban Section 76, Dannevirke.
Situated in the Borough of Dannevirke (Hawke’s Bay R.D.).
(S.O. 1920, red.)
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 106483, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged pink.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of March, 1940.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a rifle range; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-sixth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty.

In the Nelson Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 106386, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of March, 1940.

Land taken for a Pleasure-ground in the City of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a pleasure-ground, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 27 acres 1 rood 22·4 perches.
Being portion of Lot 1, D.P. 8458, being part Sections 3, 4, 5, and 6.
Situated in Block VII, Port Nicholson Survey District (Watts Peninsula R.D.). (S.O. 20343.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 106250, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of March, 1940.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water-power; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-sixth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty.

Being portion of Section 4, Block XVI, Maungakaretu Survey District. (S.O. 20368.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 105459, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of March, 1940.
