Lieutenant K. A. Powell, from the Reserve of Officers, to be Lieutenant, with seniority from 6th February, 1940, and is posted to the 1st Battalion. Dated 21st February, 1940.

Second Lieutenant P. M. Barclay, 1st Battalion, is transferred to the Regiment of New Zealand Artillery. Dated 5th September, 1939.

THE NORTH AUCKLAND REGIMENT.

Lieutenant-Colonel A. D. Jack, M.C., E.D., from the Reserve of Officers, to be Lieutenant-Colonel, and is posted to the 1st Battalion. Dated 11th December, 1939.

Second Lieutenant C. McBeath, M.M., Retired List, to be Second Lieutenant, and is posted to the 1st Battalion with seniority from 1st October, 1939, next below Second Lieutenant R. M. Harding. Dated 9th February, 1940.

Second Lieutenant (on probation) A. J. Danks, from The Otago Regiment, to be Second Lieutenant (on probation) with seniority from 1st April, 1939, and is posted to the Second Cadet Battalion. Dated 14th February, 1940.

Second Lieutenant W. S. Boyes, 1st Battalion, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), Area 10. Dated 15th January, 1940.
