A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a quarry; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-fourth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty.

Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Blocks I and II, Otahuhu Survey District, viz., a Deviation of the Auckland-Hamilton Main Highway.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road desired to be constructed over Blocks I and II, Otahuhu Survey District—viz., a deviation of the Auckland-Hamilton Main Highway—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point on the Auckland-Hamilton Main Highway at Ward Street and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately 1 mile 17 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., Sections 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95,

and 96, Lawry Settlement; Lots 1, 2, and 6, D.P. 19421 (all being parts Allotment 17, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland); part Allotment 17, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland (Railway land, Con. 34955, 22D, 253); Lots 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, and 27, D.P. 20143; Lot 1, D.P. 29152 (all being parts Allotment 17, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland); part Allotment 17, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; Section 206, Prescott Settlement; part Allotment 17, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; part Lot 1, D.P. 18413, being part Allotment 33, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; Lots 5, 7, 8, and 9, D.P. 19468 (all being parts Allotment 32, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland); part Lot 1, D.P. 17578, and Lot 2, D.P. 21050 (both being parts Allotment 24, Section 17, Suburbs of Auckland); and part Lot 3, D.P. 20687 (being part Allotment 29, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland)—and terminating at a point on the said highway near the south-western corner of Lot 1, D.P. 28959, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the North Auckland Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 109683, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 36·65 perches. Adjoining Allotment 395, Town of Grahamtown.

Situated in Block XIII, Whangarei Survey District. (S.O. 30789.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 106731, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
