Crown Land set apart as a Provisional State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.
SCHEDULE.
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Inangahua County, containing by admeasurement 122 acres, more or less, and being Section 14, Block XIV, Reefton Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan 113/18, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of November, 1940.

Authorizing the Laying-off of Streets (extensions of Clyde and Colne Streets) in the Borough of Oamaru, of a Width less than 66 ft. but not less than 45 ft.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of November, 1940.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Oamaru Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed streets described in the Schedule hereto of a width less than sixty-six feet, but not less than forty-five feet.
SCHEDULE.
THAT proposed street in the Otago Land District, Borough of Oamaru, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 22·5 perches, more or less, being part Lot 11, D.P. 3962, Township of Meadowbank, and part Lot 3, D.P. 4032, being parts Section 6, Block I, Oamaru District.
Also that proposed street in the said land district and borough containing by admeasurement 2 roods 34·58 perches, more or less, being part Lots 6 and 7, Deeds Plan 163, Lot 4, D.P. 4520, and part Lot 13, D.P. 4091, all being parts Section 8, Block I, Oamaru District.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108458, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Directing Sale of Railway Land under the Public Works Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of November, 1940.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the thirty-fifth section of the Public Works, Act, 1928 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken, purchased, or acquired at any time under this or any other Act or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever, for any public work is not required for such public work the Governor-General may, by an Order in Council publicly notified and gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the conditions set forth in the said Act :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land :—

0 1 39·6 Part Railway land (part Subdivision 2 of Section 34).
2 2 6·8 Part Railway land (part Section 34).
2 1 11·2 Part Railway land (parts Sections 16 and 34, and part road).
Situated in Block XV, Kaupokonui Survey District, Waimate West County. (S.O. 7885.)
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6347, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue and yellow.
