to be Inspectors for the purposes of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928, for the district under the control of the Piako County Council.

to be Bailiff of the Magistrates’ Court at Huntly for the purposes of the Magistrates’ Courts Act, 1928, on and from the 7th day of November, 1940.

to be District Land Registrar and Examiner of Titles for the District of Nelson pursuant to the provisions of section 4 of the Land Transfer Act, 1915, Registrar of Deeds for the District of Nelson pursuant to the provisions of section 6 of the Deeds Registration Act, 1908, and Assistant Commissioner of Stamp Duties, Assistant Registrar of Companies, Registrar of Building Societies, Registrar of Industrial and Provident Societies, and Assistant Registrar of Incorporated Societies at Nelson, on and from the 2nd day of December, 1940.

Masterton Milk Delivery Scheme 1940, approved.
Office of the Oil Fuel Controller,
Transport Department, Wellington.
PURSUANT to Regulation 3 of the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of Supply, being satisfied that all the vendors of milk (otherwise than by sale over the counter) in the district specified in the scheme referred to in the Schedule hereto are parties to the scheme or have been given an opportunity of becoming parties thereto, doth hereby approve the said scheme.
SCHEDULE.
MASTERTON MILK DELIVERY SCHEME 1940.
- For the purposes of the scheme—
“ The commodity ” means milk, and includes cream :
“ The district ” means the area inclusive of part of the Borough of Masterton and of areas adjoining thereto as indicated by distinctive colours on the plan.
“ The plan ” means the plan of the district deposited for the purposes of the scheme in the Head Office of the Transport Department at Wellington under No. 1179.

The scheme shall come into operation on the day following the date of the publication in the Gazette of notice of the approval of the scheme by the Minister of Supply.

The persons entitled to deliver the commodity in the district and the extent to which they are so entitled are as follows :—
