Patrick Marshall, Esquire, M.A., D.Sc., F.G.S., F.R.G.S., F.R.S.N.Z.,
to be members of the Board of Trustees of the National Art Gallery and Dominion Museum as representing the Royal Society of New Zealand for a term of four years from the 4th day of September, 1940.

The Strike and Lockout Emergency Regulations 1939. Appointment of Emergency Disputes Committee.
IN pursuance of the powers in that behalf conferred upon
me by the Strike and Lockout Emergency Regulations 1939, I, Patrick Charles Webb, Minister of Labour, do hereby appoint the following persons to be an Emergency Disputes Committee for the purposes of the said regulations and refer to that Committee a dispute which has arisen between members of the Wellington Tobacco Workers' Union and W. D. and H. O. Wills (New Zealand), Limited, Petone.
