SCHEDULE.
THE southern side of all that portion of road, situated in the Wellington Land District, County of Horowhenua, known as Waikanae-Waimea Main Highway (Moana Road), fronting part of Subdivision 35 of Ngarara West A Block, Kaitawa Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108478, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

The South-eastern Side of Portion of Tudor Street, in the Borough of Devonport, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of November, 1940.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Devonport Borough Council on the sixteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty, viz.:—
That the Devonport Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the Borough of Devonport, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the south-eastern side of portion of Tudor Street abutting on part Allotment 18, Section 2, Parish of Takapuna, comprised in Certificates of Title 555/91 and 770/24";
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-eastern side of the portion of Tudor Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

THE south-eastern side of all that portion of street, situated in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Devonport, known as Tudor Street, fronting Lot 2 on a plan lodged in the Deeds Register Office at Auckland, as No. 1092, being part Allotment 18, Section 2, Parish of Takapuna. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 109238, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Regulations under the Naval Defence Act, 1913, amended.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section twenty-five of the Naval Defence Act, 1913, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General, with the advice of the Executive Council, doth hereby amend and supplement the regulations referred to in the Schedule hereto as shown therein.

APPENDIX III.
Substantive Rates of Pay: Naval Ratings and Royal Marines. Insert: —
Subject to the provisions of Article 130 of these regulations and Navy Order 221, the following shall be the daily rates of pay of Airmen (with effect from 1st June, 1939):—

Boy ratings will not be required for the present.
For men transferred, service in other branches of the Royal Navy or in the Royal Marines will generally be allowed to reckon towards progressive pay in the corresponding "Airman" rating.

(Payable to ratings who on account of physical unfitness not due to their own misconduct, carelessness, or neglect have to relinquish finally the non-substantive rating of Pilot; allowance to be discontinued in the event of a man qualifying subsequently for another non-substantive rate with equal or higher pay.)
