Queenstown-Invercargill.—All that road or portion of road in the Lake County, commencing at its junction with the Milton-Queenstown Main Highway in the Township of Frankton and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction along the eastern edge of Lake Wakatipu, Fairlight, and Garston and terminating at the Mataura River at the boundary between the Lake and Southland Counties, near Athol, being a distance of 42 miles 15 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107600, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Pukeuri-Kurow-Omarama.—All that road or portion of road in the Waitaki County, commencing at its junction with the Timaru-Dunedin Main Highway at Pukeuri Junction and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly direction via Duntroon and Kurow and terminating at its junction with the Timaru-Cromwell via Lindis Main Highway at Omarama, being a distance of 69 miles 9 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107600, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured black.
Waiareka-Duntroon.—All that road or portion of road in the Waitaki County, commencing at its junction with the Timaru-Dunedin Main Highway near Oamaru and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly direction via Ngapara and terminating at its junction with the Pukeuri-Kurow-Omarama Main Highway at Duntroon, being a distance of 26 miles 40 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107600, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Palmerston-Clyde.—All that road or portion of road in the Counties of Waihemo, Maniototo, and Vincent, commencing at the northern boundary of the Borough of Palmerston and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly and south-westerly direction via Dunback, Kyeburn, Ranfurly, Wedderburn, Hills Creek, Becks, and Omakau, and terminating at its junction with the Milton-Queenstown Main Highway in the Township of Clyde at the junction of Whitby and Sunderland Streets, being a distance of 103 miles 60 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107600, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Also all that street or portion of street in the Borough of Palmerston, commencing at the junction of Ronaldsay and Tiverton Streets and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction via Tiverton Street and terminating at the northern boundary of the said borough, being a distance of 57 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107608, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Queensberry-Wanaka.—All that road or portion of road in the Vincent and Lake Counties, commencing at the north-eastern corner of Section 13, Block IX, Tarras Survey District, near Queensberry, and proceeding thence generally in a northerly and south-westerly direction via Luggate and terminating at its junction with the Queenstown-Wanaka via Arrowtown Main Highway at Wanaka, being a distance of 16 miles 1 chain, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 102399, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Mosgiel-Middlemarch-Dunback.—All that road or portion of road in the Waihemo County, commencing at its junction with the Palmerston-Clyde Main Highway near Dunback, at a point opposite the south-eastern corner of Section 31, Block IV, Dunback Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction via Macraes and Moonlight and terminating at the western boundary of the Waihemo County, being a distance of 20 miles, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 71573, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Alexandra-Springvale.—All that road or portion of road in the Vincent County, commencing at the north-eastern boundary of the Borough of Alexandra and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction and terminating at its junction with the Palmerston-Clyde Main Highway at the north-eastern corner of Section 35, Block 8, Leaning Rock Survey District, being a distance of 4 miles 10 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107600, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured purple.
Also all that street or portion of street in the Borough of Alexandra, commencing at the junction of Crookhaven and Tarbert Streets and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction via Tarbert Street and terminating at the
north-eastern boundary of the said borough, being a distance of 62 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107604, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured purple.
Lumsden - Te Anau - Milford Sound.—All that road or portion of road in the Lake County, commencing at the northern boundary of the Wallace County at a point approximately a quarter of a mile to the east of the west branch of the Eglinton River and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction by way of the Te Anau - Milford Sound Road, passing through the Clintonside and Greenstone Survey Districts, and terminating at the southern bank of the Cascade Creek, being a distance of 10 miles 41 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 85941, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked B-C.
Also all that road or portion of road in the Lake County, commencing at a point on the southern bank of the Cascade Creek and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly direction through the Homer Tunnel and along the Cleddau River, passing through the Caples, Castlemound, and Milford Sound Survey Districts, and terminating near the Milford Hostel, being a distance of 26 miles 40 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 89218, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Queenstown-Wanaka via Arrowtown.—All that road or portion of road in the Lake County, commencing at the northern boundary of the Borough of Queenstown and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly and south-easterly direction via Arrowtown to its junction with the Milton-Queenstown Main Highway at the south-eastern corner of Section 4, Block 8, Shotover Survey District, recommencing on the south-western boundary of Section 55 and continuing generally in a north-easterly direction via Cardrona to Wanaka, and thence along Youghal, Dungarvon, Brounston, Helwick, and Ardmore Streets, but excluding that portion in the Arrowtown Borough, and terminating at its junction with the Wanaka-Haast and Queensberry-Wanaka Main Highways at Wanaka, being a distance of 43 miles 7 chains, more or less: as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107600, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Also all those streets or portions of streets in the Borough of Queenstown, commencing at the intersection of Ballarat and Stanley Streets and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction via Stanley Street, Shotover Street, and Skippers Road and terminating at the northern boundary of the said borough, being a distance of 25 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107607, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Also all those streets or portions of streets in the Borough of Arrowtown, commencing at the western boundary of the said borough at the intersection of Essex and Berkshire Streets and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly and south-easterly direction via Berkshire Street, Buckingham Street, and Bedford Street and terminating at the southern boundary of the said borough, being a distance of 2 miles 72 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107602, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Arrowtown - Lake Hayes.—All that road or portion of road in the Lake County, commencing at the northern corner of Section 7, Block 9, Shotover Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction along the eastern side of Lake Hayes and terminating at its junction with the Milton-Queenstown Main Highway at the south-western corner of Section 7, Block 9, Shotover Survey District, being a distance of 3 miles 31 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107599, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
South Oamaru - Waianakarua.—All that road or portion of road in the Waitaki County, commencing at the southern boundary of Oamaru Borough and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction via Kakanui and terminating at its junction with the Timaru-Dunedin Main Highway at Waianakarua opposite the south-western corner of L.T. 1860, Block 2, Otepopo Survey District, being a distance of 14 miles 40 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 71567, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Wanaka-Haast.—All that road or portion of road in the Counties of Lake and Vincent, commencing at its junction with the Queensberry-Wanaka Main Highway at Wanaka and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction and terminating opposite the western boundary of Section 3, Block V, Lower Wanaka Survey District, being a distance
