Lake Pukaki - Hermitage - Tasman Glacier.—All that road or portion of road in the Mackenzie County, commencing at its junction with the Timaru-Cromwell via Lindis Main Highway and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction and terminating at the Mount Cook Hermitage, being a distance of 36 miles, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 71562, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Also all that road or portion of road in the Mackenzie County, commencing at its junction with the Coach Road approximately 60 chains south-east of the Hermitage and proceeding thence generally in an easterly and then north-easterly direction and terminating at the Ball Hut, being a distance of 11 miles, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 103790, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Cave-Parora.—All that road or portion of road in the Counties of Mackenzie and Waimate, commencing at its junction with the Timaru-Cromwell via Lindis Main Highway at Cave and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction via Cannington Road, Martin's Bridge, and Parora Main Road and terminating at its junction with the Timaru-Dunedin Main Highway at Parora, being a distance of 20 miles 24 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 108072, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured violet.

Temuka-Orton.—All that road or portion of road in the Geraldine County, commencing at the northern boundary of the Temuka Borough and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction via Upper Swamp and Stumps Road and Badhams to Rangitata Road and terminating at the road junction at the northern corner of Rural Section 25866, Block XII, Geraldine Survey District, being a distance of 9 miles 72 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 108072, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured brown.

Also all that street or portion of street in the Temuka Borough, commencing at the junction of King Street and Ewen Street and proceeding thence generally in an easterly direction via Ewen Street and terminating at the north-eastern boundary of the said borough, being a distance of 17 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 108074, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured brown.

Rakaia-Methven via Barrhill.—All that road or portion of road in the Ashburton County, commencing at its junction with the Christchurch-Timaru Main Highway at Rakaia and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly direction and terminating at its junction with the Rakaia-Methven - Alford Forest Main Highway at Methven, being a distance of 23 miles 28 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 108072, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured brown.

Timwald-Mayfield via Westerfield.—All that road or portion of road in the Ashburton County, commencing at its junction with the Christchurch-Timaru Main Highway at Timwald and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly direction via Lagmhor Road, Jackson's Road, and Shepherds Bush Road and terminating at its junction with the Timwald-Mayfield-Valetta Main Highway near Mayfield, being a distance of 17 miles 60 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 108072, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured vermilion.

Pleasant Point - Fairlie.—All that road or portion of road in the Counties of Mackenzie and Levels, commencing at the northern boundary of the Pleasant Point Town District and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly direction via Opihi Road, Howell's Plantation Road, Totara Valley Road, Fraser's Road, Burke's Pass Road, and Kakahu Road and terminating at its junction with the Geraldine-Fairlie Main Highway near Fairlie at the south-eastern corner of section 19947, Block IV, Tengawai Survey District, being a distance of 21 miles 60 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 108072, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured vermilion.

Also all that street or portion of street in the Pleasant Point Town District commencing at the junction of Mackenzie County Road and Opihi Road and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly direction via Opihi Road and terminating at the northern boundary of the said town district, being a distance of 38 chains, more or less;

as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 108075, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured vermilion.

HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 16.

Timaru-Dunedin.—All that road or portion of road in the Counties of Waitaki, Waihemo, and Waikouaiti, commencing at the Waitaki Bridge at the northern boundary of the Waitaki County and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction, but excluding those portions in the Boroughs of Oamaru, Hampden, Palmerston, and Waikouaiti, and terminating at the northern boundary of the City of Dunedin, being a distance of 73 miles 27 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107600, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Also all those streets or portions of streets in the Borough of Hampden, commencing at the northern boundary of the said borough and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction via London Street, Hampden Square, and Liverpool Street and terminating at the southern boundary of the said borough, being a distance of 1 mile 23 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107606, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Also all those streets or portions of streets in the Borough of Palmerston, commencing at the eastern boundary of the said borough and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction along Ronaldsay Street and the Main North Road and terminating at the southern boundary of the said borough, being a distance of 1 mile 21 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107608, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Also all that street or portion of street in the Borough of Waikouaiti, commencing at the northern boundary of the said borough at the north end of Edinburgh Street and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction via the Main North Road and terminating at the western boundary of the said borough, being a distance of 1 mile 41 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107605, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Timaru-Cromwell via Lindis.—All that main highway in the Counties of Waitaki and Vincent, commencing at the northern boundary of the Waitaki County at the Ohau River and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction via Lindis Pass, Tarras, and Queensberry, and terminating at its junction with the Milton-Queenstown Main Highway near Cromwell at

Also all that street or portion of street in the Borough of Waikouaiti, commencing at the northern boundary of the said borough at the north end of Edinburgh Street and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction via the Main North Road and terminating at the western boundary of the said borough, being a distance of 1 mile 41 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107605, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Timaru-Cromwell via Lindis.—All that main highway in the Counties of Waitaki and Vincent, commencing at the northern boundary of the Waitaki County at the Ohau River and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction via Lindis Pass, Tarras, and Queensberry, and terminating at its junction with the Milton-Queenstown Main Highway near Cromwell at the western corner of Section 30, Block 3, Cromwell Survey District, being a distance of 87 miles 13 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107600, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured brown.

Milton-Queenstown.—All that road or portion of road in the Counties of Vincent and Lake, commencing at the southern boundary of the Vincent County in Run 500, Fraser Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly and north-westerly direction through Alexandra, Clyde (via Sunderland Street), and Cromwell, but excluding those portions in the Boroughs of Alexandra and Cromwell, and terminating at the south-eastern boundary of the Borough of Queenstown, being a distance of 70 miles 53 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107600, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Also all those streets or portions of streets in the Borough of Alexandra, commencing at the bridge across the Molyneux River on the southern boundary of the said borough and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly direction by way of Ennis, Limerick, Tarbert, and Crookhaven Streets and terminating at the western boundary of the said borough, being a distance of 1 mile 23 chains, more or less, as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107604, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Also all those streets or portions of streets in the Borough of Cromwell, commencing at the bridge across the Clutha River at the south-eastern boundary of the said borough and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly direction via Melmore Terrace, Gavan Street, Flora Street, and Ana Street and terminating at the western boundary of the said borough, being a distance of 1 mile 28 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107603, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
