Inangahua Junction – Greymouth.—All that road or portion of road in the Inangahua and Grey Counties, commencing at the junction with the Nelson-Westport Main Highway in the Township of Inangahua Junction and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction, passing through the township of Reefton by way of Buller Road, Church Street, Bridge Street, and Broadway to the junction of Broadway and Cinnamon Streets, thence generally in a south-westerly direction, but excluding that portion in Brunner Borough, and terminating at the north-eastern boundary of the Borough of Greymouth on the Omoto Road, being a distance of 65 miles, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107277, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured black.
Also all those streets or portions of streets in the Borough of Brunner, commencing at the eastern boundary of the said borough at the Arnold River Bridge and proceeding thence generally in a westerly and south-westerly direction following the course of the Grey River to the western boundary of the said borough, being a distance of 4 miles 36 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107590, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured black.
Greymouth–Waiho.—All that road or portion of road in the Grey and Westland Counties, commencing at the southern boundary of the Borough of Greymouth on the Paroa Road and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction via Hokitika and Ross, but excluding those portions in these two boroughs, and terminating on the right bank of the Waiho River in the Waiho Township, being a distance of 110 miles, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107277, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured black.
Also all those streets or portions of streets in the Hokitika Borough, commencing at the northern boundary of the said borough and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction along Fitzherbert Street to its junction with Stafford Street and thence in a south-easterly direction along Stafford Street to the eastern boundary of the said borough, being a distance of 1 mile 40 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107592, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured black.
Also all those streets or portions of streets in the Ross Borough, commencing at the eastern boundary of the said borough at Donnelly’s Creek Bridge and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly, north-westerly, and westerly direction via Aylmer Street, Moorhouse Street, Mont d’Or Deviation, and the Main South Road, being a distance of 2 miles 24 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107677, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured black.
Waiho–Karangarua.—All that road or portion of road in the Westland County, commencing at the right bank of the Waiho River in the Township of Waiho and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction and terminating at the right bank of the Karangarua River in Block IX, Karangarua Survey District, being a distance of 31 miles 25 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107277, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Christchurch – Kumara Junction.—All that road or portion of road in the Westland County, commencing at Arthur’s Pass at the eastern boundary of the Westland County and proceeding thence generally in a northerly and north-westerly direction, but excluding that portion in Kumara Borough, and terminating at its junction with the Greymouth–Waiho Main Highway near the Kumara Railway-station, being a distance of 49 miles 72 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107277, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Also all that street or portion of street in the Borough of Kumara, commencing at the south-eastern boundary of the said borough and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly direction via Seddon Street and terminating at the north-western boundary of the said borough, being a distance of 1 mile, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 71251, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Kanieri–Koiterangi.—All that road or portion of road in the Westland County, commencing at its junction with the Lake Kanieri Road in Block I, Kanieri Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction by way of Kokatahi Road, Koiterangi Main Road, Cropp Road, and Hokitika Flat Road and terminating at its junction with the McArthur Road at a point opposite the southern corner of Section 211, Block XIII, Kanieri Survey District, being a distance of 12 miles, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107277, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Upper Kokatahi.—All that road or portion of road in the Westland County, commencing at its junction with the Kokatahi Road at the southern corner of Section 1225, Block IX, Kanieri Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction and terminating at its junction with Doughboy Road at the north-western corner of Section 1836, Block XIV, Kanieri Survey District, being a distance of 4 miles, more of less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107277, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Ngahere – Haupiri Junction.—All that road or portion of road in the Grey County, commencing at its junction with the Inangahua Junction–Greymouth Main Highway in Section 34, Block VII, Mawheranui Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction and terminating at Haupiri Junction near the western boundary of Block II, Kopara Survey District, being a distance of 14 miles 73 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107277, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Westport–Greymouth (Coast Road).—All that road or portion of road in the Buller and Grey Counties, commencing at its junction with the Nelson-Westport Main Highway at the south-eastern corner of Section 27, Block VII, Kawatiri Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction, but excluding that portion in Runanga Borough, and terminating at the north-eastern boundary of the Borough of Greymouth at the northern end of the Cobden Bridge, being a distance of 59 miles 14 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107277, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Also all that street or portion of street in the Borough of Runanga, commencing at the northern boundary of the said borough and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction via Seven-mile Road and terminating at the southern boundary of the said borough, being a distance of 1 mile 53 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107589, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured black.

Picton–Christchurch.—All that road or portion of road in the Counties of Kaikoura, Cheviot, and Waipara, commencing at the southern bank of the Clarence River and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction via Kaikoura, Goose Bay, Cheviot, Domett, and Omihi and terminating at the Waipara County southern boundary, being a distance of 109 miles 68 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 108064, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured scarlet.
Red Post Junction – Jollies Pass.—All that road or portion of road in the Amuri County, commencing at its junction with the Waipara–Kaikoura via Culverden Main Highway at the Red Post, north of Culverden, and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly and north-easterly direction via Hanmer and terminating at Section 47, Block II, Percival Survey District, being a distance of 23 miles 20 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 108064, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured brown.
Waikari–Motunau.—All that road or portion of road in the Waipara County, commencing at its junction with the Waipara–Kaikoura via Culverden Main Highway at Waikari and proceeding thence generally in an easterly direction via Scargill to its junction with the Picton–Christchurch Main Highway near Motunau, being a distance of 15 miles 60 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 108064, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Mina – Gore Bay.—All that road or portion of road in the Cheviot County, commencing at the South Island Main Trunk Railway-line at Mina and proceeding thence generally in an easterly direction to Cheviot and then in a south-easterly direction via Jed Road and terminating at Reserve 3160, Gore Bay Village, being a distance of 8 miles 8 chains, more
