Tupurapura-Te Wharau.—All that road or portion of road in the Wairarapa South County, commencing at its junction with the Masterton-Martinborough Main Highway near Gladstone and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction and terminating at Te Wharau in Section 249, Block VII, Wainuioru Survey District, being a distance of 15 miles 30 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 106803, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Carterton-Gladstone.—All that road or portion of road in the Wairarapa South County, commencing near Carterton at its junction with the Carterton-Longbush Main Highway and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly and easterly direction and terminating near Gladstone at its junction with the Masterton-Martinborough Main Highway, being a distance of 6 miles 70 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107389, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Martinborough - Lake Ferry.—All that street or portion of street in the Borough of Martinborough, commencing in Martin Square at the intersection of Kitchener Street and Oxford Street and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction via Jellicoe Street and terminating at the southern boundary of the said borough, being a distance of 65 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107389, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Also all that road or portion of road in the Featherton County, commencing at the Martinborough Borough southern boundary and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction and terminating at Pirinoa Township at a point 20 chains south of the southern boundary of Section 11, Block V, Haurangi Survey District, being a distance of 16 miles 60 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 106803, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Makuri-Ongaha.—All that road or portion of road in the Pahiatua County, commencing at its junction with the Pahiatua-Akitio via Pongaroa Main Highway at Makuri Township and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction and terminating at the northern boundary of the Pahiatua County, being a distance of 14 miles 40 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 106803, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Mauriceville-Hastwell.—All that road or portion of road in the Mauriceville County, commencing at the Mauriceville Railway-station in Section 59, Block I, Kopuaranga Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction and terminating at its junction with Bowen Road at Hastwell, being a distance of 5 miles 40 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 106803, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 11.
Picton-Christchurch.—All that road or portion of road in the Counties of Marlborough and Awatere, commencing at the south-western boundary of Picton Borough and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction, but excluding that portion in Blenheim Borough, and terminating at the southern boundary of the Awatere County at the centre of the Clarence River Bridge, being a distance of 74 miles 15 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107281, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, coloured green, and thereon marked A-B-C.
Also all those streets or portions of streets in the Borough of Picton, commencing in London Quay at the railway gates and proceeding thence generally in an easterly and south-westerly direction via London Quay, High Street, Broadway, Wairau Street, Nelson Square, and Wairau Street again and terminating at the south-western boundary of the said borough, being a distance of 1 mile 42 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107278, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Also all those streets or portions of streets in the Borough of Blenheim commencing at the northern boundary of the said borough at the southern end of the Opawa River Bridge and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly and easterly direction via Grove Road, Alfred Street, Market Street North, Market Place, Market Street South, Halifax Street, and Main Street and terminating at the eastern boundary of the said borough, being a distance of 1 mile 67 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107280, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Blenheim-Nelson.—All that road or portion of road in the Counties of Marlborough and Waima, commencing at the western boundary of the Blenheim Borough and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly and south-westerly direction via Renwickton, Havelock, Whangamoa Valley, and Whakapuaka and terminating at the northern boundary of the City of Nelson, being a distance of 72 miles 27 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107281, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, thereon coloured green, and marked B-E-F.
Also all that street or portion of street in the Borough of Blenheim, commencing at its junction with the Picton-Christchurch Main Highway in Market Place and proceeding thence generally in a westerly direction via High Street and terminating at the western boundary of the said borough at the Omaka River, being a distance of 56 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107280, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Murchison-Mariua via Matakitaki.—All that road or portion of road in the Murchison County, commencing at its junction with the Nelson-Westport Main Highway at the intersection of Fairfax and Hotham Streets in Murchison Township and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction following the Matakitaki, Warbeck, and Warwick Rivers and terminating at the Murchison County southern boundary opposite the south-western corner of Section 1 of 1, Block XVI, Burnett Survey District, being a distance of 33 miles 10 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107281, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, thereon coloured green, and marked Z-Y-O.
Murchison-Mariua via Shenandoah.—All that road or portion of road in the Murchison County, commencing at its junction with the Nelson-Westport Main Highway near O'Sullivan's Bridge in Section 112, Block XVI, Lyell Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction via the Marina and Shenandoah Valleys and terminating at the junction with the Murchison-Mariua via Matakitaki Main Highway in Section 2, Block VIII, Burnett Survey District, being a distance of 22 miles 63 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107281, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, thereon coloured green, and marked X-Y-O.
Renwickton - Hope Junction.—All that road or portion of road in the Counties of Marlborough, Waima, and Murchison, commencing at its junction with the Blenheim-Nelson Main Highway at a point about 10 chains from the western end of the Omaka River Bridge between Sections 90 and 164, Block XIII, Cloudy Bay Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly and north-westerly direction and terminating at the junction with the Nelson-Westport Main Highway in Section 2, Square 147, Public Utility Reserve, Block X, Hope Survey District, being a distance of 74 miles 42 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107281, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, thereon coloured green, and marked E-G.
Nelson-Stoke via Jenkins Hill.—All that road or portion of road in the Waima County, commencing at the south-western boundary of the City of Nelson and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction via Bishopdale and Wakatu, keeping to the south and east of the Midland Railway, and terminating at the junction with the Nelson-Westport Main Highway at the north-western boundary of Section 42, Block IV, Waima Survey District, being a distance of 1 mile 52 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107279, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Picton Post-office.—All that street or portion of street in the Borough of Picton, commencing at the Picton Post-office and proceeding thence generally in a westerly direction via London Quay and terminating at the junction of London Quay and High Street, being a distance of 5 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107278, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Nelson-Westport.—All that road or portion of road in the Buller and Inangahua Counties, commencing at a point on the Buller County eastern boundary at the Eight-mile Creek and proceeding thence generally in a westerly, south-westerly, westerly, and northerly direction following generally the direction of the Buller River, and terminating at the south-western boundary of the Borough of Westport, being a distance of 46 miles 69 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107277, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured black.
