Changing the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in Waimate
Survey District, Canterbury Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of
February, 1939.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for a
gravel-pit :

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for buildings
of the General Government :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon
him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth
hereby declare that the purpose of that portion of the reserve
described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a
reserve for a gravel-pit to a reserve for buildings of the
General Government.

SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

All that area containing by admeasurement one rood, more
or less, and being Reserve 4406 (formerly part of Reserve
1614), situated in Block IV, Waimate Survey District, and
bounded as follows : Towards the south by Rural Section
19159, 227-0 links ; towards the west and north by other
part of Reserve 1614, 110-0 links and 227-0 links, respectively ;
and towards the east by the Main South Road 110-0 links.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked L. and S. 6/5/271a, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red.

Cancelling the Reservation over a Reserve in Town of Patea,
Taranaki Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of
February, 1939.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section
seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby cancel the reservation for town (improvement)
purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto ;
and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in
the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the
Land Act, 1924.

Cancelling the Vesting of a Reserve in the Patea Borough
Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of
February, 1939.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is
a reserve vested in the Patea Borough Council for
town (improvement) purposes :

And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said
land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the
Patea Borough Council has duly consented to such
cancellation :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the
Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928,
doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Patea Borough Council
of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Vesting the Control of a Reserve for a Site for an Aerodrome
in the Bay of Islands County Council.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of
February, 1939.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
has been duly set apart as a reserve for a site for an
aerodrome : And whereas it is expedient that the control of
the said reserve should be vested in the Bay of Islands County
Council :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon
him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains,
and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control
of the said reserve in the Bay of Islands County Council,
subject to the conditions hereinafter contained—that is to
say :—

(1) No stock other than sheep shall be grazed on the
reserve.

(2) The aerodrome shall be duly licensed and kept licensed
in accordance with the regulations under the Air Navigation
Act, 1931.

(3) All the provisions of the regulations under the Air
Navigation Act, 1931, applicable to the aerodrome shall be
complied with.

(4) From the date of the formal handing over of the
aerodrome as completed, the said County Council shall be
responsible for the maintenance of the surface, fences, markers,
windsocks, and other structures to the satisfaction of the
Public Works Department and the Controller of Civil Aviation.
