Vesting a Reserve in the Christchurch City Council.

GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of February, 1939.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for pumping-station purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch;

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch, in trust, for pumping-station purposes.

SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

All that area containing by admeasurement 0·2 perches, more or less, being part of Reserve 4396 (formerly Lot 22, D.P. 11264), situated in Block XV, Christchurch Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by Dyers Pass Road, 12·12 links; towards the east and south by other part of Reserve 4396, 12·12 links and 12·12 links, respectively; and towards the west by Lot 21, D.P. 11264, 12·12 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/627A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Recreation Reserve in North Auckland Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.

GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of February, 1939.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the North Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Ahipara Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Ahipara Domain Board.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

Sections 68 and 69, Block IV, Ahipara Survey District: Area, 1 rood 35·2 perches, more or less.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Mapiu Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of February, 1939.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

George William Hunt,
George Patrick Edwards,
James Walter Brake,
William Campbell,
Alexander Robert Stanton,
Thomas Neil Johnson, and
Charles Henry Zimmerman,

to be the Mapiu Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine, at half-past seven o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Mapiu School as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—MAP1U DOMAIN.

Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, Block III, Mapiu Village: Area, 6 acres 0 roods 22·8 perches, more or less.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

John Gray,
Maxwell McEwan Anderson,
Frederic John Bishop,
Frank Pleasants,
Jack Rowland Turner, and
Noel Eugene Mangan

to be the Matiere Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the fifteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Matiere Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—MATIERE DOMAIN.

Section 32, Block XV, Aria Survey District: Area, 6 acres 0 roods 12 perches, more or less.
