At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of February, 1939.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Hokianga County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Matamata County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

Licensing Authority appointed under the Explosive and Dangerous Goods Amendment Act, 1920.

GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of February, 1939.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section nine of the Explosive and Dangerous Goods Amendment Act, 1920, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby appoint the Glen Eden Town Board to be a licensing authority for the purposes of the said Act within the Town District of Glen Eden.

Appointment of Puketitiri Domain Board revoked.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of February, 1939.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the ninth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, and published in the Gazette of the tenth day of that month, a Domain Board was appointed to have control of the Puketitiri Domain therein described :

And whereas it appears expedient to revoke the said Order in Council :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the aforesaid Order in Council dated the ninth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight.

Changing the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in Christchurch Survey District, Canterbury Land District.

GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of February, 1939.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for plantation purposes :

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for pumping-station purposes :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of that portion of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for plantation purposes to a reserve for pumping-station purposes.

SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 0·2 perches, more or less, being part of Reserve 4396 (formerly Lot 22, D.P. 11264), situated in Block XV, Christchurch Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by Dyers Pass Road, 12·12 links; towards the east and south by other part of Reserve 4396, 12·12 links and 12·12 links, respectively; and towards the west by Lot 21 D.P. 11264, 12·12 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/627A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
