A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere
Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land
described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby
proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule
hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.
LAND PROCLAIMED AS ROAD.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road :
9 acres 0 roods 6 perches.
Being portion of Run 203B, Blocks IV and V, Swinburn
Survey District; coloured red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.
ROAD CLOSED.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed : 5 acres 3 roods
4 perches.
Passing through Run 203B, Blocks IV and V, Swinburn

All in the Otago Land District: as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L and S. 8/9/92A,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2832, and thereon coloured
as above mentioned.

General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by sub-
section nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924,
I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that from and after the date hereof the land comprised
in the pieces of closed street described in the First Schedule
hereto, being areas adjacent to the reserve for plantation
purposes described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be
deemed to be added to the said reserve.

FIRST SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
ALL those areas in the New Brighton Borough containing
by admeasurement 1 rood 27-7 perches and 1 acre 1 rood
4-7 perches, more or less, respectively, adjoining or passing
through R.S. 460 and Reserve 3752. As the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L and S. 56303A,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2811, and thereon coloured
green. (S.O. plan 2501.)

SECOND SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 8 acres 2 roods
2-6 perches, more or less, being Reserve 3752, Block I,
Sumner Survey District, and Block XII, Christchurch
Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated
on the plan marked L and S. 56303B, deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of
February, 1939.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act,
1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby pro-
claim and declare that from and after the date hereof the
land comprised in the piece of closed road described in
the First Schedule hereto, being land which is adjacent
to or intersecting the endowment for primary education
described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed
to be added to the said endowment.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 3 acres 1 rood
30 perches, more or less, being road closed by Proclamation
published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 27th March,
1913, page 940, and now known as Section 43B, Block VIII,
Wakaiia Survey District. As the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked L and S. 8/10/62A, deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

SECOND SCHEDULE.
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 297 acres
3 roods 33 perches, more or less, being part of Section 43,
Block VIII, Wakaiia Survey District, and being part of the
land reserved for educational purposes as Run 327 by notice
published on page 439 of the Otago Provincial Gazette dated
22nd September, 1875, and apportioned as an endowment
for primary education by notice published in a supplement
to the New Zealand Gazette of the 6th June, 1878, and dated
12th June, 1878, page 841. As the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked L and S. 8/10/62A, deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, and thereon edged purple.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of
February, 1939.
