Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through Okauia 4E Block, Block IV, Tapapa Survey District, Auckland Land District, to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the twenty-third day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, duly laid out as a road-line in pursuance of section four hundred and seventy-eight of the Native Land Act, 1931:

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section four hundred and eighty-six of the said Act:

And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of subsection two of section four hundred and eighty-seven of the said Act:

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 10 acres 0 roods 23 perches.

Being portion of Okauia 4E Block.

Situated in Block IV, Tapapa Survey District. (S.O. plan 15842, red.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/2497, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2809, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of February, 1939.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the road in Waro Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 3 acres 0 roods 6 perches.

Adjoining Ōkau Road, Block X, Waro Survey District. (S.O. plan 7804.)

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/194/90A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2833, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of February, 1939.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the road in Awa-o-te Atua and Rangitaiki Upper Survey Districts described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 7 acres 1 rood 1 perch.

Adjoining part Allotment 163, and part Allotment 21, Matata Parish, Block III, Awa-o-te Atua, and Block II, Rangitaiki Upper Survey Districts. (S.O. plan 29840.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/2106A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2834, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of February, 1939.
