HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 12.

Westport-Karamea.—All that portion of main highway in the Buller County, commencing at the Waimangaroa Level-crossing on the north-western side of the Westport-Mokihinui Railway in Block II, Kawatiri Survey District, and crossing the said railway-line and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction along the eastern side thereof, then crossing the railway-line at the Birchfield Level-crossing and terminating at its junction with the new highway deviation, being a distance of 1 mile 3 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. No. 103786, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Reefton-Maruia.—All that main highway in the Inangahua County, declared as the Reefton-Maruia Main Highway, described in Order in Council dated 2nd April, 1928, and published in the Gazette on 5th April, 1928.

HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 15.

Christchurch-Dunedin.—All that portion of main highway in Ashburton Borough, declared as the Christchurch-Dunedin Main Highway, described in Order in Council dated 23rd February, 1928, and published in the Gazette on the 24th February, 1928.

Also all that portion of main highway in Ashburton Borough (previously in Ashburton County) commencing at the borough boundary near the saleyards and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction along East Street, and terminating at the North-east Town Belt, being a distance of 42 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. No. 103787, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, marked A-B thereon, and coloured red.

Walnut Avenue Highway.—All that main highway in Ashburton Borough, declared as the Walnut Avenue Highway, described in Order in Council dated 16th December, 1935, and published in the Gazette on the 19th December, 1935.

Ashburton-Methven.—All that main highway in Ashburton Borough, declared as the Ashburton-Methven Main Highway, described in Order in Council dated 23rd February, 1928, and published in the Gazette on the 24th February, 1928.

Also all that main highway or portion of main highway in Ashburton Borough (previously in Ashburton County) commencing at the junction of Havelock Street and Oak Grove and proceeding thence in a north-westerly direction via Alford Forest Road, and terminating at the borough boundary at Farm Road, being a distance of 1 mile, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. No. 103787, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, marked F-G thereon, and coloured brown.

Ashburton-Wakanui.—All that portion of main highway in Ashburton Borough, commencing at the junction of East Street and Moore Street and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction via Moore Street and Beach Road and terminating at the south-eastern boundary of Ashburton Borough, being a distance of 71 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. No. 103787, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, marked H-J thereon, and coloured pink.

Lake Pukaki-Hermitage.—All that main highway in Mackenzie County declared as the Lake Pukaki-Hermitage Main Highway, described in Order in Council dated 2nd April, 1928, and published in the Gazette on the 5th April, 1928.

HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 17.

Waiwera-Clydevale—All that main highway in Clutha County, declared as the Waiwera-Clydevale Main Highway, described in Order in Council dated the 2nd April, 1928, and published in the Gazette on 5th April, 1928.

Waiwera Railway-station Road.—All that main highway in Clutha County, declared as the Waiwera Railway-station Road, described in Order in Council dated the 2nd April, 1928, and published in the Gazette on 5th April, 1928.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 2.

Great South Road.—All that portion of road in the Ellerslie Borough and Mount Wellington Road District, commencing at its junction with Waiohua Road and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction and terminating at the southern end of St. Anne’s Bridge, being a distance of 2 miles 45 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. No. 103359, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Hobsonville Highway.—All that portion of road in the Waitemata County, commencing at its junction with the Auckland-Helensville Main Highway, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction and terminating at its

junction with the Brigham’s Creek-Hobsonville Road, at the north-eastern corner of Lot 15, Block X, Waitemata Survey District, being a distance of 2 miles 55 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. No. 103362, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured burnt-sienna.

Brigham’s Creek-Hobsonville.—All that portion of road in the Waitemata County, commencing at its junction with the Auckland-Helensville Main Highway and proceeding thence generally in an easterly and north-easterly direction, and terminating at a point opposite the wharf in the Township of Hobsonville, being a distance of 4 miles 75 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. No. 103363, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Also all those portions of roads in the Waitemata County proceeding along the north-western boundary of Section 7, Block XI, Waitemata Survey District, and along the north-eastern boundary of Lots 36, 37, and 41, being a distance of 35 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. No. 103363, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured black.

HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 9.

Western Hutt Highway.—All that road or portion of road in the Hutt County, commencing at its junction with Ford Road opposite Section 198, Block IV, Belmont Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction and terminating at its junction with the Wellington-Napier via Wairarapa Main Highway, in Block IV, Belmont Survey District, being a distance of 1 mile 40 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. No. 101906, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Wellington-Auckland via Taranaki.—All that portion of road in the Manawatu County, commencing on the right bank of the Manawatu River, near the south-western corner of part Section 429, Block IX, Mount Robinson Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction and terminating at its junction with the Wellington-Auckland via Taranaki Main Highway at the south-eastern corner of Lot 4, D.P. 3002, Block V, Mount Robinson Survey District, being a distance of 1 mile 37 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. No. 103358, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Also all that portion of road in the Manawatu County commencing at its junction with the Wellington-Auckland via Taranaki Main Highway and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction and terminating at its junction with the Wellington-Auckland via Taranaki Main Highway on the southern boundary of the Borough of Foxton, at the junction of Purcell and Johnstone Streets, being a distance of 21 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. No. 103358, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 10.

Wellington-Napier via Wairarapa.—All that portion of street in the Borough of Featherston, commencing on the southern boundary of part Section 3, Block III, Wairarapa Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction and terminating at the junction of Ludlam and Moore Streets, being a distance of 17 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. No. 103785, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Wellington-Napier via Wairarapa.—All that portion of road in the Masterton County, commencing at its junction with the Wellington-Napier via Wairarapa Main Highway in part Section 6, Opaki Registration District, Block XIII, Kopuaranga Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction and terminating at its junction with the Wellington-Napier via Wairarapa Main Highway, being a distance of 14 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. No. 103789, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Featherston-Pigeon Bush.—All that portion of street in the Borough of Featherston, known as Moore Street, commencing at its junction with Ludlam Street and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction and terminating at its junction with the Featherston-Pigeon Bush Main Highway, being a distance of 6 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. No. 103785, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
