PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the persons whose names are set out in the Schedule hereto, being officers in the service of the Crown holding the offices stated opposite their names respectively in the said Schedule, are authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Wellington City and Suburban Highways Construction and Hutt Road Amendment Act, 1929, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the persons named in the First Column of the Schedule hereto to be members on and from the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine, of the Wellington City and Suburban Highways Board of Control, representing thereon the bodies described in the Second Column of the Schedule hereto.

Declaring Crown Land in the North Auckland Land District to be subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto (hereinafter referred to as the "said land") is Crown land not acquired under the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, but is adjacent to certain land acquired under the said Act and known as the Puni Settlement and can conveniently be disposed of therewith:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and five of the said Act, and on the recommendation of the Dominion Land Purchase Board, and after considering the report of the North Auckland District Land Board, do hereby declare the said land to be subject to the said Act, to the intent that it shall hereupon be deemed to be portion of the said Puni Settlement and may be disposed of accordingly.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—FRANKLIN COUNTY.
ALLOTMENT 113, Puni Parish : Area, 3 roods 33 perches. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 21/220 “A,” deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
