Vesting the Control of a Reserve for a Resting-place for Travelling Stock in the Amuri County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 9th day of June, 1939.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for a resting-place for travelling stock: And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in the Amuri County Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control of the said reserve in the Amuri County Council.

SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

RESERVE 4384 (formerly part Reserve 3421), Block XIII, Culverden Survey District: Area, 6 acres 1 rood 26 perches, more or less.

Recreation Reserve in North Auckland Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 9th day of June, 1939.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the North Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter be known as the Orakei Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 479, Town of Orakei: Area, 10 acres 1 rood, more or less.

Portion of a Street off Beachville Terrace East, in the City of Nelson, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 9th day of June, 1939.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Nelson City Council, viz.:

“The Nelson City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets of the City of Nelson, by resolution passed this third day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the southern side of the street on the northern side of Lot 3, D.P. 2507, part Section 1180, City of Nelson, marked A–B and coloured red on plan”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the southern side of the portion of street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE.

THE southern side of all that portion of street in the Nelson Land District, City of Nelson, fronting Lot 3, D.P. 2507, being part Section 1180, City of Nelson. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 101307, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Portion of Railway Street, in the Borough of Newmarket, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 9th day of June, 1939.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Newmarket Borough Council on the first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine (the portion of street affected by such resolution being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto and being shown by red colour on the plan mentioned therein), viz.:

“That the Newmarket Borough Council, being the authority having control of the streets in the Borough of Newmarket, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of Railway Street, coloured red on plan, fronting Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 28655, and being part of Allotment 22, Section 4, Suburbs of Auckland”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-eastern side of the portion of Railway Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
