Recreation Reserve in Wellington Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 24th day of May, 1939.

THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Waverley Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Waverley Domain Board.

SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing 1 acre 3 roods 13·49 perches, more or less, situated in the Waverley Town District, being part of Section 322 of the Okotuku District, and being also Lot 3, D.P. 3598, and part Lot 1, D.P. 2195, and being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Vol. 456, folio 289, Wellington Registry.

Vesting the Control of a Reserve for Water-conservation Purposes in the Auckland City Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 24th day of May, 1939.

THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for water-conservation purposes: And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in the Auckland City Council:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control of the said reserve in the Auckland City Council.

Withdrawing Land from the Operation of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section one hundred and sixty-two of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Order in Council, on the recommendation of the Land Board, declare that any land comprised in a kauri-gum reserve shall, from a date to be specified in the Order, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and on and after the date so specified the land to which the Order relates shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924:
And whereas the Land Board of the North Auckland Land District has duly passed resolutions recommending that the portion of the Opoe Kauri-gum Reserve Extension No. 2, as described in the Schedule hereto, be excepted from the operations of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section one hundred and sixty-two of the Land Act, 1924, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the portion of the Opoe Kauri-gum Reserve Extension No. 2, as described in the Schedule hereto, shall, from the twentieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL those areas in Mangonui County containing by admeasurement 439 acres 1 rood 1 perch, more or less, being parts of Opoe Kauri-Gum Reserve Extension No. 2 (to be known as Sections 87, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, and 94, Block V, Opoe Survey District). As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 15/188A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. Revoking Order in Council of the 14th October, 1936, licensing Wilhelm Gerald Hinrich Theodor Freese to use and occupy a Part of the Foreshore at Rawene, Hokianga River, as a Site for an Office.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the fourteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-second day of the same month, at page 1908, Wilhelm Gerald Hinrich Theodor Freese (hereinafter called “the licensee”) was licensed to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Rawene, Hokianga River, as a site for an office:
And whereas the licensee has applied to have the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council revoked, and it is desirable to revoke the same:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Harbours Act, 1923, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council of the fourteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, as from the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine.
