PURSUANT to section sixty-five of the Cook Islands Act, 1915, and to an Order in Council made thereunder on the twenty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, His Excellency the Governor-General doth hereby appoint
Nio Daniela, of Tengatangi, Atiu,
to be a member of the Island Council of Atiu during his pleasure as from the date hereof, in lieu of Ngapuka (deceased).
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 20th day of May, 1939.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Child Welfare Act, 1925, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby reappoint
Mrs. Ine Marie Christina Jones, of 52 Te Aroha Street, Claudelands, Hamilton,
as a person to be associated with the Children’s Court held at Hamilton, and I declare that the said reappointment is made generally in relation to all matters that may be dealt with by the said Court :
And I further declare that the said reappointment shall be for eight months ending on the 31st day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine.

to be trustees of the Gordon Public Cemetery as described in the Schedule hereto, and to have the control and management of the said cemetery.

ALL that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Section 31, Block VII, Wairere Survey District.

William O’Donnell
to be trustees of the Owhango Public Cemetery as described in the Schedule hereto, and to have the control and management of the said cemetery.

ALL that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District containing by admeasurement 3 acres, more or less, being Section 48 of Block X, Hunua Survey District.

Extending Powers of Ship Cove Reserve Board.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by Warrant dated the seventeenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-fourth day of that month, the control of a certain reserve in the Marlborough Land District, known as the Ship Cove Reserve, was vested in certain persons therein named who were by the said Warrant, in pursuance of subsection three of section ten of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1935, constituted a special Board by the name of the Ship Cove Reserve Board with the powers and subject to the conditions set forth in the said Warrant :
And whereas it is considered desirable that the powers of the said Board should be extended :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by subsection three of section ten of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1935, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby confer on the Ship Cove Reserve Board the following additional power, that is to say,—
The Board may, with the approval of the Minister in Charge of Scenery Preservation, make such rules as it deems necessary for the good conduct of the public frequenting the reserve, and may set apart areas for camping-grounds or other purposes, and may fix reasonable charges for the use thereof in accordance with a scale to be approved from time to time by the Minister.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 19th day of May, 1939.
