Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, Thames County, containing by admeasurement 1,879 acres 2 roods 30 perches, more or less, and being Sections 6 and 7, Block XII, and Section 4, Block XIII, Hastings Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked 23/48, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plan S.O. 29834.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of May, 1939.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, Kawhia County, containing 195 acres 0 roods 14 perches, more or less, and being Sections 6 and 10, Block XI, Kawhia North Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 35/4, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of May, 1939.

SCHEDULE.
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL those areas in the Nelson Land District, Murchison County, containing approximately 132,718 acres, being Provisional State forest 92,495 acres, national-endowment land 12,693 acres, and Crown land 27,530 acres, and described as follows:—
All that area containing approximately 117,498 acres, being Provisional State Forests No. 112 and part No. 113 (17,120 acres and 10,720 acres, respectively, Gazette, 1920, page 2113—national-endowment provisional State forest), Provisional State Forests Nos. 76 and 78, part Nos. 75, 77, 79, and parts of No. 43 (400 acres, 200 acres, 3,100 acres, 3,800 acres, 30,970 acres, 2,200 acres, 6,575 acres, 7,940 acres, and 840 acres, respectively, Gazette, 1920, page 931—ordinary provisional State forest), national-endowment land (658 acres, 756 acres, 600 acres, 100 acres, 8,934 acres, 55 acres, and 400 acres), and Crown land (495 acres, 847 acres, 2,650 acres, 5,000 acres, 396 acres, 8,800 acres, 3,500 acres, and 422 acres), situated in Maunga, Tainui, Lyell, Matiri, and Hope Survey Districts, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the south by Scenery Preservation Reserve 1 (in red), Crown land, Sections 74 and 73, Block IX, Hope Survey District, and a line being the production of the northern boundary of Section 73 aforesaid, to the western boundary of Hope Survey District; towards the west by the western boundary of Hope Survey District, Sections 7 and 16, Block VIII, Matiri Survey District, a public road, Section 1, Block V, Hope Survey District, a road, Section 2, Block V, and Section 10, Block I, Hope Survey District, a road, a crossing of Brewery Creek, by a road along the right bank of that creek, and by Sections 11 and 14, Block I, Hope Survey District; towards the south by the said Section 14, a road, a crossing of Bulmer Creek, and by a road; towards the east by a road along the middle branch of the Owen River; towards the south by Section 13, Block I, Hope Survey District, a road, a crossing of the left branch of the Owen River, by a road, and Section 5, Block IV, Matiri Survey District, to and across a road; towards the east by Sections 12 and 14, Block IV, Matiri Survey District, to and across a road, Sandstone Creek, and another road, by a road along Sandstone Creek, and by Section 3, Block IV, Matiri Survey District; towards the west by Sections 4, 1, 16, and 17, Block IV, Matiri Survey District; towards the south by Section 17 aforesaid, to and across a road, and Johnston’s Creek; towards the south-east generally by Johnston’s Creek, a road along Johnston’s Creek, Section 1, Block III, Matiri Survey District, a road, the west branch of Johnston’s Creek, a road, Sections 11, 8, 15, 12, and 1, Block VII, Sections 2, 3, 4, and 5, Block XI, a road, a crossing of Doctor’s Creek, a road, by Sections 8, 7, 16, and 6, Block XIV, all in Matiri Survey District, and by a right line from Trig. Sub. 1 to Trig. H; towards the north-west generally by Sections 18, 19, 20, and 21, Block XIV, Sections 5, 2, 3, and 7, Block X, and Section 2, Block VI, all in Matiri Survey District; towards the south by the said Section 2, by a road, Section 9, Block VI, and again by a road, to and across a road, a branch of the Matiri River and another road, by a road along the said branch of the Matiri River, to and across a road, and again by a road, by Section 2, Block V, Matiri Survey District, the Matiri River, a crossing of the Matiri River, a road, and Section 3, Block V, Matiri Survey District; towards the east generally by Section 3, Block V, a road, a crossing of a branch of the Matiri River, by a road, Sections 2 and 3, the eastern portion of Section 5 (as shown on S.O. plan 39/73), and Section 1, Block IX, and Sections 7 and 6 and Lot 2 of Section 3, Block XIII, all in Matiri Survey District; towards the south by Section 9, Block XIII, Matiri Survey District, Section 5, Block XVI, Lyell Survey District, a crossing of Husband’s Creek, a road along Husband’s Creek, and again by Section 5 aforesaid, by Sections 18 and 17, Block XVI, Lyell Survey District, by Scenery Preservation Reserve No. 4 (in red), Section 10, Block XV, Lyell Survey District aforesaid, and again by Scenery Preservation Reserve No. 4 (in red); towards the west, north, and east generally by the boundary of the Murchison County (Gazette, 1920, page 2520); excepting thereout Lake Matiri and all public roads.
Also all that area containing approximately 11,520 acres being Provisional State Forest No. 83 (3,350 acres, Gazette, 1920, page 932—national-endowment provisional State forest), Provisional State Forest No. 131 (5,280 acres, Gazette, 1920, page 2113—ordinary provisional State forest), national-endowment land (305 acres, 631 acres, and 254 acres), and Crown land (150 acres, 774 acres, and 776 acres), situated in
