Block IX, Awakino North Survey District, to the Awakino
River ; thence across the Awakino River and along the main
highway to the eastern boundary of Mahoenui No. 6 Block ;
then ce along the eastern boundary of that block to the
north-western boundary of Mangaawakino No. 1a Block ;
then ce along the northern and eastern boundaries of that
block to the northern boundary of the Mangapapa B No. 2
Block ; thence along the north-eastern, north-western, and
north-eastern boundaries of the said Mangapapa B No. 2
Block to the Mokau River ; thence by the Mokau River
and the county boundary to the sea at the mouth of the
Mokau River, the place of commencement.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of

Purposes of Part I of the Housing Act, 1919.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section nine of the Housing Act, 1919, I, George
Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto shall
be and the same are hereby set apart for the purposes of
Part I of the said Act.

Road traversing Native Land proclaimed as a Public Road
in Block VI, Mangamuka Survey District, North Auckland
Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the road described in the Schedule hereto
traverses Native land and has been used by the public
as a public road and has been formed, improved, and main-
tained out of the funds of the local authority :
And whereas the Native Land Court, by an order made on
the twenty-second day of June, one thousand nine hundred
and thirty-eight, and issued pursuant to section four hundred
and eighty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, ordered and
declared the said road to be a public road :
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in
the public interest that the said road should be proclaimed
as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been
forwarded to the Minister of Lands in terms of section four
hundred and eighty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931 :
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road should
be proclaimed as a public road :
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act,
1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road described
in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a
road :—

Situated in Block VI, Mangamuka Survey District. (Plan

In the North Auckland Land District ; as the same are

57453A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2844, and thereon
coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of
May, 1939.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests
Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto
as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—WELLINGTON FOREST-
CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, Waitomo
County, containing 627 acres, more or less, and being Section
6, Block IV, Aria Survey District. As the same is more
particularly delineated on plan No. 52/7, deposited in the
Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of
May, 1939.
