IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that on the 4th day of May, 1939, the above-named company passed the following extraordinary resolution:—
- That the company by reason of its liabilities, cannot continue its business, and that the company be wound up voluntarily.
- That ADRIAN BUXTON BLACK, Company Secretary, of Auckland, be and is hereby appointed liquidator.
At a meeting of creditors, held on the same day, the nomination of Adrian Buxton Black was confirmed.

BOROUGH OF GREEN ISLAND.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1936, the Green Island Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of one thousand pounds (£1,000) authorized to be raised by the Green Island Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for drainage and sewerage works, the said Green Island Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three farthings (¾d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Green Island; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

MALMANCHE AND COMPANY, LIMITED.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held on the 4th day of May, 1939, the following special resolution was duly passed:—
“Resolved as a special resolution that the company be wound up voluntarily.”
And by a further resolution duly passed on the same date, I, the undersigned JOHN ARTHUR NODWELL, of Dannevirke, Company Secretary, was appointed liquidator of the said company.

MEMBERS’ VOLUNTARY WINDING UP.
NOTICE is hereby given that a declaration of solvency having been filed pursuant to section 226 of the Companies Act, 1933, an extraordinary general meeting of members of Superbus Packing Company, Limited, was held on the 28th day of April, 1939, when the following special resolutions were passed:—
“That the Superbus Packing Company, Limited, be voluntarily wound up.
“That Mr. RICHARD MADDREN, of Christchurch, be and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purpose of such winding up.”

CHANGE OF NAME.
I, PETER CAMBELL heretofore called and known by the name of Clarence Thomas Campbell, but legally known as Clarence Thomas Hill Campbell, of Dannevirke, in the Provincial District of Hawke’s Bay and Dominion of New Zealand, Shop Assistant, do hereby give public notice that on the 6th day of April, 1939, I formally and absolutely renounced, relinquished, and abandoned the use of my said christian names of Clarence Thomas Hill and my said surname of Campbell and then determined thenceforth and on all occasions thereafter whatsoever to use and subscribe the christian name of Peter instead of the christian names of Clarence Thomas Hill and the surname of Campbell instead of the surname of Campbell; and I give further notice that by a deed-poll dated the 6th day of April, 1939, duly executed and attested and enrolled in the office of the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Palmerston North on the 3rd day of May, 1939, I formally and absolutely renounced and abandoned the said christian names of Clarence Thomas Hill and the surname of Campbell and declared that I intended thenceforth upon all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the name of Peter Cambell instead of the name of Clarence Thomas Hill Campbell and so as to be thereafter called, known, and described by the name of Peter Cambell exclusively.

THE WELLINGTON BOWLING CLUB, LTD.
IN LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and of THE WELLINGTON BOWLING CLUB, LTD. (in Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of members of the above company will be held at the Wellington Bowling Club’s Pavilion, Aro Street, Wellington, on Wednesday, the 14th May, 1939, at 8 p.m., when the liquidator will, in accordance with section 232 of the said Act, lay before the meeting an account of the winding up and give any explanation thereof; and at the same meeting the following resolution will be proposed as an extraordinary resolution:—
“That the books and papers of the said company and of the liquidator be disposed of by delivering the same to Wellington Bowling Club (Inc.), which society shall thereafter be entitled to the custody thereof.”

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933 and in the matter of HEMP PRODUCERS, LIMITED.
NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the above-named company held at the R.S.A. Rooms, Moray Place, Dunedin, on Wednesday, 26th April, 1939, the following extraordinary resolution was passed:—
“That, in view of the prevailing economic situation relative to the market (immediate and future) for phormium tenax throughout New Zealand and elsewhere, and by reason of the company’s financial position, it is deemed advisable that the company should not carry on its business any longer but that it should be wound up, and that J. N. ALLAN, of 169 Princes Street, Dunedin, be and is hereby appointed liquidator.”
All persons or companies having claim against the above-named company are required to send full particulars thereof to the undersigned on or before 30th May, 1939, otherwise they may be excluded from participation in any distribution of assets.
