OWN).
John Sherwood Tomlinson to be 2nd Lieutenant and is
posted to the 1st Battalion, with seniority next below
2nd Lieutenant L. N. Wallace. Dated 1st December,
1938.
Gordon Noel Utting to be 2nd Lieutenant (on probation)
and is posted to the 4th Cadet Battalion. Dated
1st March, 1939.
Henry Owen Ingram to be 2nd Lieutenant (on probation)
and is posted to the 2nd Cadet Battalion. Dated
31st March, 1939.

THE WELLINGTON REGIMENT (CITY OF WELLINGTON'S
OWN).
The undermentioned are transferred to the New

Lieutenant D. G. Sherson, 2nd Cadet Battalion, resigns

THE CANTERBURY REGIMENT.
Lieutenant T. H. McDonald, 3rd Cadet Battalion, is
posted to the Retired List with permission to retain
his rank and wear the prescribed uniform. Dated
24th March, 1939.
William Grant Quirk to be 2nd Lieutenant (on probation)
and is posted to the 5th Cadet Battalion. Dated 15th
March, 1939.

THE NELSON, MARLBOROUGH, AND WEST COAST REGIMENT.
2nd Lieutenant J. R. Dagger, 3rd Cadet Battalion, is
transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b),
Area 9. Dated 30th March, 1939.

THE OTAGO REGIMENT.
James Fyfe Baker to be 2nd Lieutenant and is posted
to the Regimental Depot. Dated 1st March, 1939.

THE NEW ZEALAND SCOTTISH REGIMENT.
Captain E. J. Thomson, from the Reserve of Officers,
The Otago Regiment, to be Captain, with seniority
from 4th September, 1935, and is posted to the
Christchurch Company. Dated 29th March, 1939.
Captain A. H. Maciver, from The Wellington Regiment
(City of Wellington's Own), to be Captain, with
seniority from 3rd October, 1937, and is posted to
the Wellington Company. Dated 4th April, 1939.
Lieutenant I. E. Duff, from The Wellington Regiment
(City of Wellington's Own), to be Lieutenant, with
seniority from 1st January, 1938, and is posted to
the Wellington Company. Dated 4th April, 1939.

N.Z. ARMY SERVICE CORPS.
Captain F. J. McWhinnie, 2nd Composite Company,
resigns his commission on appointment to a commission
in the Royal N.Z. Air Force. Dated 15th February,
1939.

N.Z. MEDICAL CORPS.
Lieutenant-Colonel J. W. Craven, M.C., T.D., M.D.
(Reserve of Officers, Royal Army Medical Corps
(T.A.)), to be Lieutenant-Colonel, with seniority from
14th September, 1937, and is transferred to the Reserve
of Officers, Northern Military District. Dated 24th
February, 1939.
