promotions, transfers, resignations, and retirements of
officers of the New Zealand Military Forces:β€”

STAFF AND COMMANDS.

Lieutenant-Colonel B. S. Finn, D.S.O., N.Z. Dental
Corps, is granted an extension of his appointment
as Director of Dental Services to 3rd January, 1940.

Lieutenant-Colonel R. A. H. Fulton, M.B., N.Z. Medical
Corps, relinquishes command of the Otago University
Medical Company, N.Z.M.C., and is transferred to the
Reserve of Officers, Southern Military District. Dated
14th March, 1939.

Major J. A. D. Iverach, M.C., M.B., N.Z. Medical Corps,
is appointed to command the Otago University Medical
Company, N.Z.M.C. Dated 15th March, 1939.

NEW ZEALAND ARMY ORDNANCE CORPS.

W.O.I. (Armament Sergeant-Major) John William
Evers is granted the honorary rank of Lieutenant.
Dated 8th March, 1939.

THE WAIKATO MOUNTED RIFLES.

Lieutenant S. J. Wright, seconded 1st Composite
Mounted Rifles Regiment, to be Captain. Dated 28th
November, 1938.

CORPS OF ENGINEERS.

James Archibald Goodair, A.M.(N.Z.)I.E., A.M.I.C.E.,
to be 2nd Lieutenant and is posted to the 1st Field
Company. Dated 29th March, 1939.

N.Z. CORPS OF SIGNALS.

Lieutenant W. J. Scholefield ceases to be posted to the
Southern Depot and is posted to the Central Depot.
Dated 5th October, 1938.

Lieutenant W. J. Scholefield, Central Depot, is trans-
ferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), Area 5.
Dated 3rd April, 1939.
