A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the land comprised in the piece of closed street described in the First Schedule hereto, being land which is adjacent to the Featherston Domain described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said Featherston Domain.

SECTION 2, Block III, Wairarapa Survey District (formerly closed road): Area, 20 perches, more or less.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
FEATHERSTON DOMAIN.—WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 53 acres 3 roods 6 perches, more or less, being part of the Town Reserve in the Town of Featherston, bounded towards the north-east by Section 1, Block III, Wairarapa Survey District, 619 links; towards the south-east, north-east, and north-west by Railway land, 330 links, 581 links, and 330 links, respectively; towards the north-east by Harrison Street, 500 links; towards the south-east by Town Sections 62, 61, 60, 59, 58, the abutment of Bell Street, and by Town Sections 57, 56, 55, 54, and 53, 2100 links; towards the south-west by Fox Street, 600 links; towards the south-east by the abutment of Fox Street and by Town Sections 35, 34, 33, 32, 31, and the abutment of Revans Street, 1200 links; towards the south-west by the abutment of Hart Street and by Town Section 7, 600 links; towards the south-east by Town Sections 7, 6, 5, and parts 4 and 3, 1000 links; towards the south generally by Section 2, Block III, Wairarapa Survey District, 350 links, and by the Wellington–Featherston Main Highway, 15·77 links, 104·41 links, 94·38 links, 96·35 links, and 36·04 links; towards the north-west by part Suburban Section 464, and Rural Section 516, Township of Featherston, 4651·17 links.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 21 acres 1 rood 25 perches, more or less, being part of Section 338, Township of Featherston, bounded towards the north-east generally by Suburban Section 487, and the Wellington–Featherston Main Highway, 1600 links, 343·58 links, 193·27 links, 256·41 links; towards the south-east by part Town Section 2, and Town Section 1, 644·2 links; and towards the south generally by the Otaiura River.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Suburban Section 122, Township of Featherston, bounded towards the north-west by Wakefield Street, 500 links; towards the north-east by Suburban Section 115, 1000 links; towards the south-east by Johnston Street, 500 links; and towards the south-west by Harrison Street, 1000 links.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 1 rood 15·4 perches, more or less, being part of Section 152, Town of Featherston, bounded towards the north-east by Fitzherbert Street, 463·77 links; towards the south-east by the Wellington–Masterton Railway, 179·43 links; and towards the south-west by Revans Street, 393·54 links.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 3 acres 0 roods 29 perches, more or less, being parts of Suburban Sections 116 and 123, Township of Featherston, bounded towards the north-west by Johnston Street, 1000 links; towards the north-east by Suburban Section 109, 435 links; towards the south-east by the Wellington–Masterton Railway, 1020 links; and towards the south-west by Harrison Street, 200 links.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of March, 1939.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of March, 1939.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to section two hundred and forty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931, and all other powers him enabling, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the disposition to, and the acquisition by Daniel Vickery Bryant, of Hamilton, Farmer, Campbell Larnach MacDiarmid, of Hamilton, Solicitor, Richard English, of Hamilton, Accountant, Hugh Douglas, of Hamilton, Medical Practitioner, and Cecil Daniel Bryant of Tauwhare, Farmer, of the lands described in the Schedule hereto, notwithstanding the provisions of Part XII of the said Act.

THE residue of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Vol. 215, folio 274, containing 47 acres 1 rood 11·5 perches, more or less, called or known as Te Kumi No. 3B No. 3 Block, situated in the Auckland Land Registration District.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the thirty-fifth section of the Public Works Act, 1928 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken, purchased, or acquired at any time under this or any other Act or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever, for any public work, is not required for such public work the Governor-General may, by Order in Council publicly notified and gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the conditions set forth in the said Act:
Now, therefore, His Excellency, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and direct the sale of the said land described in the Schedule hereto.

Part of Railway land (part Sections 1 and 8), Block I, Maruwhenua Survey District, Waitaki County. (S.O. 9095.)
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 5385, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
