Extension which is contiguous to the Brunner Collieries
Coal-mine, and connected by suspension footbridge over
the Grey River within Township of Brunnerton on the
Greymouth—Christchurch Railway and Main Road, a distance
of eight miles from Greymouth.

Town Lands in Westland Land District for Selection on
Renewable Lease.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections
are open for selection on renewable lease under the
Land Act, 1924 ; and applications will be received at the
District Lands and Survey Office, Hokitika, up to 4 o'clock
p.m. on Monday, 13th March, 1939.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at
the District Lands and Survey Office, Hokitika, on Wednesday,
15th March, 1939, at 10.30 o'clock a.m., but if any applicant
is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land
Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the
examination of applicants.

Westland County.—Waiho Survey District.
SECTION 1 : Area, 32 perches. Capital value, £50 ; half-
yearly rent, £1 5s.
Section 2 : Area, 32 perches. Capital value, £50 ; half-
yearly rent, £1 5s.
Section 3 : Area, 32 perches. Capital value, £50 ; half-
yearly rent, £1 5s.
Section 4 : Area, 30·9 perches. Capital value, £45 ; half-
yearly rent, £1 2s. 6d.
Section 5 : Area, 31 perches. Capital value, £40 ; half-
yearly rent, £1.
Section 6 : Area, 2 roods 16 perches. Capital value, £60 ;
half-yearly rent, £1 10s.
Section 6 is weighted with £425 (payable in cash) for
improvements, comprising dwelling, outhouses, clearing and
fencing.
These sections are situated in the Town of Waiho Gorge
Extension No. 1 on the Main South Road immediately
across the Waiho River Bridge, a distance of ninety-five
miles from Hokitika by main highway and twenty chains
from Waiho Gorge Post and Telegraph Office and Hotel.
The sections are suitable for building-allotments.
