The Prize Court Rules, 1939.

IT is notified for general information that by order made by His Majesty in Council on the 19th day of October, 1939, it was ordered that forthwith upon the making of the order the Prize Court Rules, 1914, and their amendments, should, except in their application to the Union of South Africa and Eire, be revoked and the rules contained in the schedule to the said order (to be cited as “The Prize Court Rules, 1939”) should come into force in the countries and territories therein named, including the Dominion of New Zealand, and every territory in respect of which a mandate on behalf of the League of Nations has been accepted by His Majesty and is being exercised by His Majesty’s Government in the Dominion of New Zealand.

It is further notified that the Prize Court Rules, 1939, are published in the Statutory Rules and Orders, 1939, of the United Kingdom as No. 1466/L. 23. Copies are available for perusal in the offices of the Registrars of the Supreme Court at Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin.
