Lands in the Nelson Land District forfeited.

NOTICE is hereby given that the leases or licenses of the undermentioned lands having been declared forfeit by resolution of the Nelson Land Board, the said lands have thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

Forfeiture of Lease of Land in the Nelson Land District cancelled.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 6 of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1939, I hereby cancel the forfeiture of the lease described in the Schedule hereto, notice of which was published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 2, 19th January, 1939, page 49.

Lands in North Auckland Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease.
North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, 31st October, 1939.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections are open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 11 o’clock a.m. on Friday, 12th January, 1940.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Wednesday, 17th January, 1940, at 10 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
Applicants are required to produce for inspection when examined documentary evidence of their financial position, such as bank pass-books, certificates or letters of credit from managers of banks, financial institutions, or mercantile firms, or from private persons or parents undertaking to give financial assistance. Persons undertaking to assist financially should state to what extent they are prepared to do so and supply guarantees of their own financial position.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicants are required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year’s rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and amount of weighting for improvements
