WESTERN SPRINGS SPEEDWAYS, LIMITED.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the
matter of WESTERN SPRINGS SPEEDWAYS, LIMITED.
NOTICE is hereby given that an order of the Supreme
Court of New Zealand, dated the 29th day of
September, 1939, confirming the reduction of the capital of
the above-named company from £1,200 to £300 and the
minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the
capital of the company as altered the several particulars
required by the above-mentioned Act, was registered by the
Registrar of Companies at Auckland on the 4th day of
October, 1939. The said minute is in the words and figures
following:-
"The capital of Western Springs Speedways, Limited,
henceforth is £300 divided into 1,200 shares of 5s. each,
instead of £1,200 divided into 1,200 shares of £1 each. At
the date of the registration of this minute each share is
to be deemed fully paid up."

of such winding up."

matter of E. S. SORENSEN, LIMITED (in Liquidation).
THE liquidator of E. S. Sorensen, Limited (in Liquidation),
which is being wound up voluntarily, doth hereby fix
the 6th day of November, 1939, as the day on or before
which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts
or claims, and to establish any title they may have to priority
under section 258 of the Act, or to be excluded from the
benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved,
or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.

WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the
Waipa County Council hereby resolves as follows:-
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and
other charges on a loan of £2,000, authorized to be
raised by the Waipa County Council under the above-
mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing the Waipa
County Council's proportion of the cost of constructing
a bridge (together with the approaches thereto) over the
Waikato River at the "Narrows" on the Rukuhia-
Tamahere Road, the said Waipa County Council hereby
makes and levies a special rate of three two-hundredths
of a penny (3/200d.) in the pound upon the rateable
(unimproved) value of all rateable property of the whole
of the County of Waipa, and that such special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of
such loan and be payable yearly on the first day of July
in each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years or until
the loan is fully paid off."
It is hereby certified that the foregoing is a true and correct
copy of a resolution passed at a properly constituted meeting
of the Waipa County Council held on the 18th September,
1939.
