THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Harbour to the sea at Katikati Entrance; thence south-easterly along the sea-coast to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Papamoa No. 2, 11B Block, the point of commencement, and including Motiti and adjacent islands.

TE PUKE DISTRICT.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, bounded, on the west by the Tauranga District hereinbefore described, from Otanewainuku Trig. Station to the sea-coast; thence south-easterly along the sea-coast to a point due north of Trig. Station J-1 (Otamarakau) in Block IV, Waihi South Survey District; thence due south along a right line passing through the aforesaid Trig. Station J-1 to the north-eastern corner of Section 2, Block XI, Waihi South Survey District; thence due west along a right line to Trig. Station Otanewainuku, the point of commencement.

And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come into operation on the first day of November, in the year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of September, 1939.

Districts constituted under the Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing registration districts known as the Tauranga and Te Puke districts, and do proclaim and declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said districts is hereby divided anew into two registration districts the names whereof shall be the Tauranga and Te Puke districts, and the boundaries whereof shall be conterminous with the boundaries of the marriage districts bearing the same names as are set forth in a Proclamation of even date herewith, made under the provisions of the Marriage Act, 1908:

And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come into operation on the first day of November, in the year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of September, 1939.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as street the land in the Borough of Motueka described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as street:-
