Vesting a Reserve in the Cromwell Borough Council.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of September, 1939.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for a reservoir-site: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Cromwell:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Cromwell, in trust, for a reservoir-site.

Recreation Reserve in Otago Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of September, 1939.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Otago Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Ranfurly Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Ranfurly Domain Board.

PURSUANT to section five of the Native Purposes Act, 1937, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby declare the Native freehold land described in the Schedule hereto to be included in the Native Reservation set apart and reserved by an Order in Council dated the twenty-second day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, and published in the Gazette on the fourth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, at page 3130, and affecting Hereheretau B 3B.
