Pursuant to section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933.
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held on the 17th day of February, 1939, the following special resolution was duly passed:-
- That the company be wound up voluntarily.
- That the present secretary of the company, Miss H. G. NIVEN, be and she is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.

WANGANUI COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order levying a Consolidated Rate of 1d. in the pound over the whole of the County in lieu of various Special Rates.
Councillor A. H. Collins, moved; Councillor T. Mitchell, seconded.
THAT in accordance with the provisions of section 43 of the Finance Act, 1937, the Wanganui County Council does hereby make and levy by special order an annually recurring special rate of one farthing in the pound over the whole of the properties within the County of Wanganui. Such special rate shall be known as the "Consolidated Rate" and shall be in lieu of the following special rates:--
Matarawa Road ; Mangamahu Road ; Barton Fields Road; Wharemata Bridge; Glengar Bridge; Recreation Reserve; Streets Improvement; Pungataua Road; Morgan Street; Long Acre Road metalling; Dublin Street Bridge; Parapara Road metalling; Wangaehu Road metalling; Wangaehu Suspension Bridge; Parahauhau-Tauakira No. 1; Parihauhau-Tauakira No. 2; Te Komai Road; Waipapa Road; Kukuta Road; Upokongaro Bridge; Kauangaroa Bridge; Wangaehu Road metalling; Parapara Road No. 37; Wanganui City Loans; Wanganui-Horopito Main Highways Loan; River Road; Main Road metalling; Turakina-Mataroa; Rangiwaea Roads; and Wanganui and Aberfeldie Bridges.

The above resolution was duly confirmed at the ordinary meeting of the Wanganui County Council held on Friday, 12th August, 1938, at 11 a.m., and the common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Wanganui was hereunto affixed, pursuant to a resolution in that behalf, in the presence of:-

MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Matamata County Council hereby resolves as follows:--
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of Β£350, authorized to be raised by the Matamata County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of purchasing the Tokoroa Memorial Hall, the said Matamata County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one twenty-fourth of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Tokoroa Memorial Hall Special-rating Area, comprising all that area in the Matamata County included within the following boundaries: Commencing at the junction of the Puriri Road and the Waitoa-Taupo (No. 19) Main Highway by a line proceeding northward generally to the northern boundary of part Lot 1 on D.P. 23021; thence in a westerly and south-westerly direction generally by the northern and western boundaries of part Lot 1 on D.P. 23021, and the northern boundary of part Lot 4 on D.P. 17083, to the Taupo Totara Timber
